Dixie Chicks singer: I'm ashamed Trump is president-elect every day

Wow, they seem determined to destroy the restart of their career which was destroyed in 2003. I love their music (at least the early stuff), but I'm not going to spend any money on them anymore. They are just idiots who seem determined to show their asses.

 

Don't let the Rachel Maddow haircut fool you, she's actually not a homosexual, but it really helps her to give off a "progressive" image that she uses to differentiate herself from pretty much everybody else associated with country music.

 

There's no such thing as country music anymore. The "Dixie" chicks are part of the problem.

By combining Trump and President as a compound noun, you defame the term used for Washington, Lincoln, Kennedy, Clinton, endless list of presidents. At the end of the day, Trump has no authority over average Americans. No one should be proud to call themselves a American for the next 1,460 days. It's become a meaningless word. The Dixie Chicks singer, who so rightfully spoke out against the Bush admin, is saying what everyone is saying, but afraid to say. Just like Meryl Streep did. These are brave individuals, and we should be following their cue.

As long as you understand one can no longer be proud to call themselves a American, understand the term has become meaningless, and become a apologist to every foreigner we come in contact with, that's where we can strike middle ground.
