Okay, but the larger issue is the unwillingness of the so-called representatives to carry out the will of the people. We have big problems with what is supposed to be a government of the people by the people and for the people and folks need to wake up which should not be all that difficult being they are smearing it right in our faces.

I'm a FDR Progressive and I see nothing in the establishment DNC that even remotely resembles any remnant of that platform. Both establishment parties have sold out.

Besides what does that have to do with AOC and the DNC Platform?

I think you are in the wrong thread.:salute:

Assuming that one does operate under that assumption.

The AOC/Bernie Wing of The Democratic Party is going to be much better served by Biden being elected than 4 more years of Trump.

^That is Undeniable (and Utterly Beyond Dispute).

We have to stop the bleeding but we will get another Trump when the needs of the people will not be met again for another 4-8 years and folks become desperate and disgusted...again. It's a catch 22 when voting for Biden or any establishment Dem as it tells them they need not provide any policy you support to earn your vote. And last but not least, it will not affect them or their donors at all if Trump did win.

Does it matter who the political puppet picks? He's still a weak candidate that I could beat. Time will tell if Trump can do the same

Doesn't matter a whit to me.... He could pick a dress shoe and it would have more personality than Mike Pence and certainly be competitive in their debate.

I have my general preferences and dislikes, but it's Joes choice and he needs to make the best pick for him...

He's not a weak candidate... he's just an older candidate, also to be spun as experienced and capable of governing (shudder)

I think everybody has some "reservations" about Biden.

BUT, to the vast majority of America, being on the Other side of a BINARY Choice against the Trump Trainwreck is enough of a reason to Vote for Biden.

Watch the video, as Americans are losing their jobs and funds, top dems want to add mail in voting to the bill, which isn't going to happen, has nothing to do with emergency relief, and is more evidence on its face of where the priorities of top dems lie.

Not the point at all. Elected officials are elected to represent those who elected them. This is a perfect illustration of what we have said a lot over the last decade or so....that Democrat politicians don't even represent their voters. This is just them blatantly saying they don't care what their voters want.

I agree. After years of watching RINO's running (and losing), after years of watching republicans lose-I decided enough.

And I voted for the outsider thinking that even if Trump sucked-he would be just the one to shake things up in Washington. It was a gamble, and he wasn't expected to win but he did and has done a great job. His approval is in the mid 90's among Republicans.

As all of this is going down-I watched the non establishment Dem candidates push for outsiders like who Sanders was supposed to be, and now for the second time I see the establishment telling them no.

Even though I am no supporter of the left or the dems, I do hope that one day they actually get leaders who represent them and fight for them.

The point was top dems aren't interested in taking care of their constituents, they would rather push their own agenda-just like with the new DNC platform.

Im glad to see you get it. When the DNC puts Bernie supporters behind chain link fences, and they take it, and when they choose for their voters WHO the candidate is going to be without any blow back-they are basically being given the ok to continue on with business as usual.

    EXCEPT:

Mail-In Voting Does need to be added.

There is no way that there is going to be an in-person election.

And, the states are going to need millions to set up the infrastructure for this sort of monumental undertaking.

If, the Feds don't get the money, the states will be on their own.

Then, they will have to borrow money and then after Biden is elected they will get paid back.

Just another indication of Trump's Dishonesty and Voter Oppression.

Trump knows that he can't win if everybody votes.

Well the polling (its apparently even worse with internal polling) shows that Bidens support seems to have hit a high water mark.

All while he stays in his bunker because every time he speaks he reminds people how dementia addled he is, thats not a good sign.

I was reading today that some of Bill Clintons top advisors warned Biden to do anything to not debate Trump.

He's a very weak candidate with a revolting and remarkably bad history in DC-the epitome of the DC swamp.

You can sprinkle glitter on him but its not going to help.

This was not the final vote which will be a write in over 4,000 delegates which all ready has over 600 votes guaranteed.

    Yup, sure thing.

As if any Democrat (Bernie supporter or not) is going to be influenced by that sort of talk.:roflol:

This time, sadly, The Dems aren't going to "cut off their nose in spite of their face" like 4 years ago.

Sorry, but Trump needs a new shtick.

The Dems are all on the same page this time.

    Back to the drawing board.:flagus:

And Moscow Mitch is holding any relief up over his demand that corporations not be held liable for negligence for forced Covid exposure of their employees. Your point?

And Benedict Donald's continues to drop. He's starting to lose support from his base now. There is no way to spin this as positive for Donnie Dipstick and his sycophants in any way.

    And, so what?

In spite of that, Biden WILL WIN.

I can understand why Trump is so Frustrated,

The 2012Obama/2016Trump Voters that flipped The Rust Belt are headed back to Biden in droves.

PA, MI, and WI are (essentially) already in Biden's column.

Trump is going to have a major undertaking just to hold Biden under 300 Electoral Votes.

Biden could easily run up the score well above 330 EV.
