Not just yet... you still have to have a doctor's prescription. Next year it will be open for "recreational" sales. Funny thing is, now a lot of the individual municipalities are trying to forbid sales inside their city limits. Pretty ****ing stupid IMHO, and they'll miss out on a lot of taxes (which was a big reason I voted for legalization). But, what the hell, the governments can always jam higher taxes up everybody asses if they don't want to allow MJ sales in their towns. BTW, all somebody has to do is go to a town that doesn't make it illegal to sell, and, THAT town gets all the tax revenue. Aren't people really just stupid as hell?! So, if they make it illegal in Colorado Springs (which seems likely), then people will just drive three miles over to Manitou Springs and buy all they want over there.

Anyway, yeah, eat, drink, and be merry, and marry anybody who'll take you. Soon living in this ****ed-up country will be like living in the Middle Ages. Pass the pipe, and don't worry about anything. We don't have to worry about "the enemy at the gate" anymore. They're already here! :weed:

Well, the Feds can and probably will come in and throw a bunch of growers and sellers in prison like they've done elsewhere, in spite of the state's decisions and laws - just to show everyone what a bunch of pricks they really are, as if we all don't already know.

    What about bi-polygamy.

A bi-sexual could have multiple spouse of both genders.

I don't mind "being there" for nice women who may be complaining they can't find any more nice guys; simply for the sake of gender relations in modern times.

What about a divorce in that scenario? Kids are most likely involved. What kind of visitation scenario could they come up with that. All of those half sisters and brothers... and then you probably have some co-wives or husbands that contributed more than the others.

You couldn't do 50/50 with the potential of each spouse wanting a divorce at some point. the group together would be considered the other half of the marriage, so whatever percentage that is is what your worth would be in court.

Most likely some of the wives would be helping to support the family. Would they be required to pay child support for some of the kids that aren't there's because they were dependent on her income?

When one or more leaves the marriage does the head husband go looking for replacements? there's a few cots in the living room not being used.

What about if the head husband dies or doesn't want the arrangement anymore? Which one of the wives gets to choose who is replaces the head guy or do they just go on their way?
    What about his will?

How would the courts get involved to protect the children? What could possibly be fair? Divorces can go on for years as it is.

to respond to a couple of themes on this site related to this thread.. government has to be involved in marriage because of how devastating the death of a marriage can be for the couple and the kids, (visiting relatives and neighbors included) If they can't work it out themselves they need a third party they both have to listen to so

Legalizing polygamy and incestual marriage is offering an endorsement of an abusive and oppressive environment for children (and the spouses involved) to live in during and after the marriage. In the event of a split it will be tough for courts to find what is financially fair and best for the kids and the parents in that mess while respecting the structure of the family.
Not so with gay marriage. If a gay couple divorces, the courts will have a very similar scenario to work with that they do with heterosexual marriages. It's monogamy and not with someone you're related to.

Most of what you claim is due to more Statism rather than less Statism which may engender more litigation rather then less litigation due to the coercive use of force of the State to enforce income transfers.
