I have an idea for a podcast that would be run by people on the website. Check out details below http://www.politicalforum.com/member-casual-chat/498002-podcast-idea.html
Hmmm. If you can get enough of people onboard I would be prepared to listen to it and if it is good enough I could even donate a penny or two. There are a few problems though that might hamper the project such as; - Sound quality: Most likely the pod will have to be recorded via Skype which often results in poor sound quality, but it is still bearable if participants have good microphones, which brings us to another problem... - Equipment: Not everyone has- or can afford a fancy or semi-fancy microphone, so even if one is prepared to contribute to the project it will simply not be worth it if one does not own a good microphone. - Time zones: Most people here are American, which is good. But some live on other continents and that can make it hard to find a good time to record. - Editing: Podcasting is it not about just pressing rec and start yabbing. It requires alot of editing too and that is not as easy as it may seem. It takes knowledge and patience and I am not sure how many of the members here have that kind of knowledge or how many of us that would actually be prepared to take on the role as "editor". PS. The link seems invalid, assumingly because the forum is now on a different server.
I'm willing to listen, and maybe to participate. BUT, none of us on either Left or the Right are going to want it to turn into an echo chamber "pep rally" full of fake news that favors any one faction.
No need to make it a place where participants bash each other or bs "the other side". It could just be a pod where you discuss news events and a certain topic (perhaps let listeners vote?) Like free trade in one episode and open borders in the next or whatever.
