they actually can and do treat cancer successfully, funnily enough the state funded research dept at the state funded university in my local city is the world leader on cancer research, they say if they ever find a cure theyll find it there. they can treat cancer okay nowadays, its only secondary cancer that they cant treat, if it spreads youre dead but if they catch it before it spreads you have a decent chance.

Put myself in one shoes? You seem to only take the side of a government run system and try to play it off that you are considering everyone, when you are not. You are 'stupid fool' for saying the system can't work. Why do you feel that government is the answer to everything? Would you desire that people not have the freedom to do, sell, and buy what they want?

No. As any liberal, you lack any pride or dignity and thrive on emotions and good feelings to try and play off a 'utopia' of dependance of frailty.

Lots of people say (*)(*)(*)(*) like that. It's good for business. I live where Vanderbilt U is, and they claim to be the best and leading force in cancer research.

Truth is, cancer is not broad - it is individual-based. therefore there can be no true 'best' researcher or provider.

Well, I've seen BOTH sides personally and know thousands who have experienced the same.

There are good reasons I know that healthcare for profit isn't the BEST concept.

You have a choice to receive medical attention or not in this country. Choice. Thus, profit.

If one doesn't like it, they have the choice to study medicine themselves for their own well-being. Choice.

I've known people who have been treated under British NHS. They couldn't wait to get back to the US to get adequate treatment.

What percentage of British GDP does this Third World health care system eat up?

no you dont thats lies, cause I know americans who have used our nhs and been very impressed with it, we are not a third world country our medical care is fantastic, as for gdp just over a third of what you spend, but nobody in our country dies from lack of healthcare, around 40 thousand a year do in your country.

approximately 50 million americans dont have insurance

is there anything else youd like to know ?

Still, a VERY flawed system. Time to fine-tune and CHANGE.

YOU go heal YOURSELF. I hope others have better judgement than you appear to exhibit here.

I've spoken with people from Britain and Canada; all satisfied and positive experiences from the system they were under.

Going BROKE (or trying to afford the care) is what most Americans would have been talking about.

Did you know that 90% of the healthcare an individuals receives in the USA comes in the last month of their life, leading to that said 'bankruptcy'?
Did you know those 40 thousand people who die are because they have been diagnosed with something that cannot be cured, but only alleviated?
Did you know you can receive health insurance in the USA by buying it or receiving it through a third party?

Anything else you want to pretend to know about?

I don't need to heal myself because I have nothing that needs healing.

lol, all laughable bs, you are wrong on every single point

americans dying from lack of healthcare, nothing to do with incurable diseases, entirely curable ones http://www.reuters.com/article/2009/09/17/us-usa-healthcare-deaths-idUSTRE58G6W520090917

americans going bankrupt due to medical bills, note not in the last months of their lives http://articles.cnn.com/2009-06-05/...ls-bankruptcies-health-insurance?_s=PM:HEALTH

you obviously will call the sources liberal so find your own, I know much more about your healthcare system than you do, Ive actually studied the american healthcare system and wrote essays on it, you clearly havent

You have debunked nothing. All we're hearing from you is either insults about leeches and parasites, or totally clueless rants about a healthcare system you're completely ignorant of.

And how about post-acute care, existing pre-conditions etc? Yes, you can get treated, but once the acute treatment is done you're on your own. You won't get ongoing care under Medicare.

Guess you can't have everything for free, right? Might have to pay for it like 80% of the US population does.

Oh, unless you live in the UK, in which case you STILL make payments for treatments despite subsidized healthcare.

Any moment, you surely could need help for something VERY expensive. It is inevitable for many people.
