Watch this video and compare it with what Obama is doing today.

Frankly, I'm worried with the president. At best the man has alzheimers disease, at worst he has just impeached himself.

Does he misplace things from time to time like Aunt Fong? For instance, did he leave his chair recently at Tampa Bay Times Forum and forget all about it? :whisper:

He should have sought help right before distributing that stimulus package and TARP.

Now where did those trilions of dollars go again?

Misplaced things often turn up unexpectedly, just like that unoccupied chair.

You mean like some of that stimulus money turning up hidden in the Oval Office?

Really? Using Alzheimers to make a political move? People are dying because of this, a disease that doesn't have a cure. Ronald Regean, died to that. What compelled you to make thread using Alzheimers?

Disgusting. The gall of some people. I just don't know why someone would start a thread like this.

Well whoever did it has zero percent political correctness flowing through their veins and could probably care less about it.

Well should you find such a person, perhaps you could tell them people have standards. When you're trying to make a joke, it needs to be funny, there needs to be a punchline. But when it becomes insulting to the point it loses its punchline, it's not longer funny.

TARP was Bush, as was the first stimulus package. ARRA was Obama, and it was a mixed bag as far as success, but that could have been rectified had the money been better spent without the waste and cronyism that went into deciding who got some of it.

    So it's all "W"'s fault?

But I thought that is what the economy needed. Obama should have been his biggest fan.

TARP and ARRA were two different programs that addressed two different things, and the first stimulus was too small.

But, pointing out that it was Bush who pushed through TARP is not the same as blaming him. It was a combination of Republicans and Democrats over the last 20 years that caused the crisis, but it's absolutely 100% moronic to expect Obama, or any president, to get in office and fix it in less than 4 years. Then again, if you don't even know basic facts about the crisis like who was responsible for TARP, I suppose it's not surprising.

That video is a year and half old.

    Do you have anything worthwhile?

    What an odd thread!

Alzheimer's transformed Reagan into the "greatest president EVER" for the Right Wing, I would assume you will fight to get Obama a 2nd term if he was going to start governing like Reagan!

"W" is Obama's twin. I have no doubt about that now. That is why I often get the two confused.

You can say that it is moronic to expect Obama to fix the economy in only 4 years, but to ignore the promise that his stimulus program would put unemployment below 8% and create millions of jobs is also moronic. They guy has no clue as to what he is doing. He is like a Keynesian mad scientist at work.

Ah yes, in the mind of a progressive anything older than 2 weeks is ancient history, except for their progressiveme movement that is older than dirt itself.

Anyhow, the point of this thread was to show how his perception of what is Constitutional did a 180 in only a years time. That is not that long ago you know. In debt terms, that was about $2 trillon dollars ago.

The title of the thread was whether he had Alzheimer's. A year and a half old clip doesn't prove anything. He's made lots of completely lucid statements since then and including that clip.

You mean like when he stated that the current economic path was unsustainable, yet does not flinch from its current path?

Which of the 57 states are you from anyway?

No, like when he announced that Bin Laden was dead.

Even though Romney thought it wasn't worth "moving heaven and earth spending billions of dollars just trying to catch one person"

Thank God Obama was our president and not Romney.

Billions? I thought it was trillions.

Anyhow, what is the death of a terrorist worth these days?

With all those drones and satellites floating over head I wonder if all this was really necessary.

All politicians have selective memory. It's just a part of the job.
