I heard an interesting idea today by a congressman who's name I did not get. He suggested WE PAY people to get the Corona Virus vaccine, rather than just give checks to everyone. This would hopefully make us reach herd immunity much faster, and get life back to semi normal faster.

 

So I guess according to you're logic we should take back the money we gave to the 10 million US citizens working overseas because they won't spend it all here?

That wouldn't be a bad idea if we thought there was going to be a lot of people who were not planning on getting the vaccine. To me, a better idea would be to pay people (healthy people within healthy weight under 30) to get infected with COVID. If we had done that in starting in April we would probably already have herd immunity now and could live normally while we wait for the vaccine.

Pay heed to the implicit logic: according to the CBO, at most, half of illegal immigrants do not pay any federal taxes, which means that those immigrants would be receiving healthcare from the federal government, courtesy of Joe Biden, for free, since they are not paying for it. When the rest of the American electorate gave a thumbs down to this policy stance, his campaign then decided to play PR.
