I actually think that Texas has a losing fight here… However I think it’s important to emphasize the failed liberal policies of Kamala Harris who was put over border policies early on in this administration. So I’m extremely happy they’re being called out in a way that will shed light on the subject. One task she was given and predictably failed. All the migrant busses and damage to states that went border states from illegal immigration only rings the bell louder.

Of course Democrats want to abuse the DOJ in order to keep their open borders policies in place.

So let me see if I have this correct.
The Federal Government has a duty to enforce immigration law, but are refusing to do so.
Mr. Abbot introduces laws to enable Texas to do what the Federal Government is refusing to do, so the DOJ is suing Texas to stop them doing what the Government is supposed to be doing.

Exactly, but Abbott has a work around.

I live in New Mexico and we are the #2 oil producer in the nation, Texas is #1.
As we all know oil production is a national security issue, so imagine my surprise when I saw this on TV.
    https://www.krqe.com/news/new-mexico/unm-study-immigrant-oil-workers-face-unsafe-conditions/
Notice the term 'immigrants' but no mention of their legal status, but add this to the mix
    https://oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-...egal-Immigration-Is-Hurting-Oil-Drillers.html
And of course the standard justification rhetoric is "But we can't get Americans to do the job, so we are forced to hire illegals"
The same justification is used for hiring illegal farm, dairy, construction and service industries.
Maybe a partial answer would be to stop giving welfare to those who are able bodied but who just don't want to work.

And we are supposed to believe that this administration is not open borders.

His ass should be impeached for this
