I think he means in terms of how the fake news kept saying that he didn't have a chance against Clinton and the fact that he turned blue states red after he was slammed and smeared the entire campaign. It was historic. Libs take everything so literally, don't they? Is the word "lie" now going to replace the word "racist"? Racist didn't work and I don't think this will either. Desperation is a terrible thing. Are Libs AFRAID that Trump might actually SUCCEED? Actually if you are an AMERICAN, you should WANT him to. Capische?

Missed it by a mile, I wasn't thinking of cigarettes. I was thinking of the ones you swallow while you're straining out those gnats.

First Trump was talking about Republicans and everyone forgets the Ass kicking Bush the first laid on Dukakis just like they mostly forget Dukakis. Just like Hillary he cost him self the election but in his case it was one optic, that picture of him in the tank that looked like a 12 year old on 'take your kid to work day' at the army base. I have never seen anyone that looked so out of place in my life.

Instead, he deflected blame away from himself. "Well I was given information"

LOL, I watched the entire 76 minutes and my eyes and ears are still recovering. This was easily the most extraordinary and crazy presidential event I've ever witnessed, a new low by a wide margin for "un-presidential" behavior ever, except for Nixon having to resign :eyepopping:. I've always considered Trump to a moronic, buffoonish pathological liar but he set a new standard yesterday. This press conference will go down in history as one of the most insane presidential events ever. His committed base of roughly what - 38% or so, will love this while the more sober and serious are rightfully horrified.

As crazy as it might seem, I think he will outdo this performance very, very soon. He'll be in SC this afternoon and he'll be doing a rally in FL tomorrow. Why a campaign style rally? - He needs to feed his ego and be in front of his adoring fandom where no one will question the lies and utter nonsense he'll be spewing. If he doesn't outdo yesterday in these events he almost certainly will on Feb 28 when he gives an address to a joint session of Congress. This will be "must watch TV" - we'll be treated to one of the most bizarre speeches ever given in Congress, especially if he hasn't hired any legitimate speech writers by then and therefore he and Stephen Miller will write it. This should be epic

Agree. His one thing to brag about and even that's a lie.........how insecure he is that he has to bring that up all the time.

Doesn't he know he has to do other things as President? His insecurity is also showing in his need to start campaigning for 2020....

Does he open all his conferences with foreign leaders with , "I won more electoral votes so do what I say""" :roflol: That seems to be his "reasoning"....

"Utter desperation" is going off topic with Clinton rather than presenting a defense of Trump (which is impossible so supporters have to go off topic) :)

If it was just puffing and pattng himself on the back, that would be one thing. But he and his staff attack anyone who questions their "alternative facts"

Did you catch that crazy talk by Trump at his press conference when Jim La Costa called him out about the fact that if the "leaks are real how can it be fake news"?

Also, even Fox News has had enough of the Trump lies by calling what he is doing as "crazy", which it is; http://www.carbonated.tv/news/fox-news-anchor-shep-smith-blasts-donald-trump-press-conference-crazy

A lie is a lie regardless of how big or small it is. Do you want a President leading this country who lies about almost everything?? As it has been said by some politicians, this president is a pathological liar. He makes Richard M. Nixon look like a choirboy.

You need to petition to get a sticky thread.

Anyway, he has a get out of denigration free card, so we cannot give a wit:

"The United States deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of [those whose religion justifies lying]." (Clinton)

"We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of [those whose religion justifies lying]." (Obama)

It's the gift that keeps on giving:

You created an entire thread to whine about him saying he "guesses" it was the biggest win? "I GUESS"?

I've seen desperation before but this one takes the cake. Give yourself a pat on the back.

Clinton: "The United States deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. … But let me be clear: There is never any justification for violent acts of this kind.”

Obama: "We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. But there is absolutely no justification for this type of senseless violence. None."

I'm not sure your point here. Are you saying donald gets free reign to lie because Obama and Clinton stood up for religious freedom and against violence?

That's kind of bizarre, but I have seen all kinds of weird reasons why folks supported donald.

So, is that the point, to confuse others? Not to worry, his "confusing" lies aren't fooling anyone.

Pretty funny how left-wing Democrats suddenly care about politicians lying, again. Always seems to happen when a non-Democrat is in the White House.

This is what worries me about Donald's lies -- sure, other politicians have lied to cover up mistakes or maybe bolster their image, but Donald goes beyond that. He lies habitually, in every speech he makes. He lies even about the most petty and easily falsifiable of things. For God's sake, the man literally felt the need to lie about the weather at his inauguration . . . the. (*)(*)(*)(*)ing. Weather. This isn't the only time he's lied about the magnitude of his EC win either, and even before that he was lying and saying he had won more Florida counties during the primaries than any other candidate in history.

He's either the most flagrant liar to occupy the White House or, worse, it is possible that he actually believes all this stuff and is completely delusional. Either way, this "man" is not well.

There is no religious freedom if you cannot denigrate the religious beliefs of others. No, to the question, that is why you need a sticky thread.

Obama and Clinton's rejection and deplorement do absolutely nothing to limit your religious freedom. You are still free to denigrate the religious beliefs of others.
