The article doesn't say what was edited. Unless there was a significant change in the content of the interview, I doubt this is going anywhere. Remember, Flynn pled guilty to lying about the content of his conversation with the Russian Ambassador, telling them that he'd only talked to him to wish him happy holidays and to sympathize in regard to a recent Russian plane crash, which killed everyone on board. He failed to tell them that he'd also discussed the recent Obama sanctions and a U.N. Security Council vote that was coming up. The FBI had other intelligence regarding the call and when they matched that intelligence with his interview, they knew he'd lied. Plus, Flynn faced other charges such as tax evasion, failure to register as a "foreign agent," for lobbying purposes, of Turkey, etc. He got off light.

 You have totally missed the fact that we do not know what Flynn may have lied about because the cabal altered the docs as those changes are germane to the charges against Flynn. Flynn knew he was being recorded in his conversation with Kislyak, and mentioned such to Strzok & Pientka (whom the FBI has refused requests from him to be interviewed). AND, both Strzok & Pientka stated they believed that Flynn was being truthful in his remembrances. Odd that people that weren't there would decide that Flynn lied. Hmm...

“Those changes added an unequivocal statement that ‘Flynn stated he did not’ — in response to whether Mr. Flynn had asked Kislyak to vote in a certain manner or slow down the UN vote [on sanctions],” Powell wrote. “This is a deceptive manipulation because, as the notes of the agents show, Mr. Flynn was not even sure he had spoken to Russia/Kislyak on the issue. He had talked to dozens of countries.”

Read his plea agreement. It's possible the FBI interviewing agents had not seen the intelligence on the call at the time of the interview with Flynn and the lie only became evident when they compared Flynn's interview with the other intelligence. Also...there was Flynn's request to the Russians not to respond to the Obama sanctions and to wait until Trump took office. You ignored discussion of the sanctions.

As I told this forum, I got hit two times. Fortunately the enormous expense vis a vis the political foe and his contractor only took my time and not more cash than the cost of gasoline. But it was one hell of a problem since they sued me for at a minimum, a million dollars. I fought my fellow directors who resisted the board insurance plan covering me as a Director. I was entitled to that coverage since I was a voted in Director. I did all deeds on behalf of the full board. A jolt to me was the full Board being told to exclude me from the meeting when the board discussed my case. It was like this Schiff parody of justice. I felt shunned by the directors due to being told to always leave the meeting when my case came up again. Fortunately as part of my settlement I obtained a written letter of apology to me over how the Directors handled this affair. I had tools to fight back as well. I saw this Schiff brand of justice during that episode.

WOW huge deal Flynn actually asked Russia to hold back it's own sanctions.

Flynn admits to his lying. But this the federal judge is holding up on due to new information.

What this Government did to a veteran of combat duty is kick him in his teeth.

    Statement by Michael Flynn

After over 33 years of military service to our country, including nearly five years in combat away from my family, and then my decision to continue to serve the United States, it has been extraordinarily painful to endure these many months of false accusations of "treason" and other outrageous acts. Such false accusations are contrary to everything I have ever done and stood for. But I recognize that the actions I acknowledged in court today were wrong, and, through my faith in God, I am working to set things right. My guilty plea and agreement to cooperate with the Special Counsel's Office reflect a decision I made in the best interests of my family and of our country. I accept full responsibility for my actions.

The FBI didn't charge him with "treason and other outrageous acts," only lying to them, to which he pled in the above "guilty." As a high ranking officer, with years of honorable service, he should have been aware of the importance in telling the truth to lawful authorities. And, the FBI reflected their consideration of his service by dropping other possible charges and requesting a minimum sentence. If there is new mitigating information, then let it be considered, but I doubt the new information is that significant. Presumably, the judge will address the issue when the sentencing finally takes place.

For the kidnaping plot? LOLOL.. These old creeps all wanted to hit the brass ring.

Trump's preview is just another attempt to bamboozle you.. and he'll probably succeed. His base still won't know why he was impeached.. They will be calling it a witch hunt 20 years from now.

The Trumpers' claims in this thread will not age well.

Have you figured out yet that nobody in the press has read the report in its entirety, while Trump, and his AG office have?

    Patience guy.

Right. And they lied about what was in the Mueller Report.

BTW, you really think Bonespurs "read" it? *LOL*

Trump, his AG, and prosecutor Durham have had access to this for some time.

Funny enough over on democrat underground they are like "what grand jury"? "Who's this Durham guy?".

And here, Trumpers keep asking about "due process" in the House portion of the process. There's never a shortage of ignorance when partisan politics are an issue.

I know who Durham is, and expect that what ever issues were found, they're insignificant and didn't impact the Russia probe or the Mueller Report.

No Im saying nobody outside of the white house has read this at all, its going to take days.

Furthermore, Barr and Durham have not only had access to this report for some time-they have access to even more info, via the investigations currently running.

Oh yeah, they are the ones with teeth as well.
