Donald Trump demonstrated new energy for his job as president of the United States in an interview published Friday.

“Maggie, here’s the bottom line: I love doing it,” Trump said to New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman. “I don’t know if I should love doing it, but I love doing it.”

The president did the interview with the Times on Thursday afternoon and spoke about running for re-election in 2020. https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/02/01/donald-trump-ready-to-run-in-2020-i-love-doing-it/ This is indeed good news. He should run again as he’s done a great job as our President. He’s done a great job for the middle and working classes in America.

I will vote for him again.

If you were to do a blind test and judge him just by his accomplishments, without knowing anything else, even his name, I'm sure most would vote to keep him in there.

We will see if the democrats can muster enough of a turnout to dethrone him though.

I'm kind of thinking they are running into the same problem as last time though. They are all assuming he is going to lose so they won't bother going out to vote.

That and they are racing to the left to pick the most unacceptable candidate possible to Heartland America.

Biden should get the nomination and he's a decent, safe pick.

I would certainly not bring your child on a WH tour if he's elected however.

It's much better to her than to read. Reading this word salad of incoherence and jibberish is almost painful.

Trump is liked much more that the MSM tells us or the polls show us. He has done a much better job for the country than Bush or Obama. I think he will run again and he will crush the poor slob who takes him on.

Im thinking back to that night in 2016, after I voted.

    Hillary was a sure shot.

    But I still voted.

The next day, on the drive into work was surreal.

The mans successes over the last 2 years, with the entire establishment against him have been remarkable.

I will be voting for him again.

To date, he is the best POTUS of my lifetime.

He might not have a choice in the matter. Here is a short review of the case against Trump.

No less than nine of Trump's close associates have connections to the Russian government or were involved in concealed payoffs. One was the former chief of the DOJ. One is his former NSA. One is a former campaign manager. One was a former deputy campaign manager. One was his personal lawyer for ten years. Another one is his son-in-law, and another is his son.

In December 2016, Mike Flynn made a deal with the Russian ambassador for Trump, the elected President. Try to imagine private citizen Flynn doing that all on his own.

We know of at least one occasion where his son, son-in-law, and his campaign manager met with representatives of the Russian government at Trump's home, Trump Tower, to gain an advantage in the election. Put all this together, and it is extremely unlikely the hands-on manager did not know what was going on.

Trump has been accused of obstruction of justice. This charge is related to his firing of the FBI director. At the time, the FBI was actively engaged in the Russian probe.

In May 2017 Trump met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Ambassador to the US Sergey Kislyak in the Oval Office. He had this to say about the firing of James Comey, his FBI director.

"I just fired the head of the FBI. He was crazy, a real nut job," Trump said. "I faced great pressure because of Russia. That's taken off." "I'm not under investigation," he added.

Trump appreciated the help from the Russians and WikiLeaks. “WikiLeaks! I love WikiLeaks,” Trump proclaimed at a Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, rally on Oct. 10, 2016. “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,” Trump said during a news conference in an apparent reference to Clinton’s deleted emails. “I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.”

Why in the world would Trump be so foolish as to collaborate with the Russian government in a Presidential election? Is he really that naive?

One possible answer is, his hands were caught in the cookie jar. Evidence suggests that he was involved in money laundering with Russian interests. This further suggests that Putin knows about it, and he is extorting the President.

Why, on a number of occasions, Trump encouraged the Russians and WikiLeaks to involve themselves in the election is a question no one can answer and suggests extreme naiveté on Trump's part, or a strong belief that he is above the law -- the law does not pertain to him. Who knows, but it was stupid.

Time reports, "Testimony to the U.S. Congress by the head of a political research firm indicates that the Trump Organization’s sales of properties to Russian nationals may have involved money-laundering.

“Transcripts reveal serious allegations that the Trump Organization may have engaged in money laundering with Russian nationals. Patterns of buying and selling were suggestive of money-laundering."

One important factor that we all must keep in mind. Trump never does the dirty work. He gets others to do it for him. Picture Trump calling the Russian ambassador to make a deal in December 2016. Never happen, right. So, claiming that Trump never collaborated with the Russians or did not know about the activities of his son, son-in-law, campaign manager, and personal lawyer on his behalf is meaningless and useless as a defense tactic. Trump is responsible for what the Trump campaign did in his name.

The UAW just invoked Trump's buy American platform in rebuke for General Motors outsourcing American jobs. :D

This is the truth that the democrat party, media, and left have refused to tackle head on.

I think in private they wish they had a Trump of their own.

In a way, Schultz is-but since he's not a democrat most are threatened and wont realize until Trump's second inauguration.

What's not to love. His fans come out and shower him with attention.

How long have we been waiting for this budget bill to be signed.

I have to give it to Donald...best campaigner ever.

Not so good on all that other Presidential stuff...but he sure can campaign.

Dems certainly have things backwards. It's as if Trump said 'the sun rises in the east,' they would deny it. lol

Yet all are either accused of things long before or just process crimes. Go figure.

Yet so far this is all Mueller has:

    1. First are process crimes such as perjury, obstruction, false statements, and witness tampering that have resulted from the investigation itself.

    2. Second are crimes that occurred before Mueller was appointed but that cover unrelated business activities by Trump associates.

    3. Third is one indictment against Russian individuals who will never be brought to justice in the United States.

Of course, they did. There are no members of the UAW in Mexico. :roflol:

Did you even read post 12? Did any Trump fan read post 12? There has been no reaction, none at all. It shows how Trump is involved, and his fans can't face the reality of that fact. Why do they support a President they can't defend?

One important factor that we all must keep in mind. Trump never does the dirty work. He gets others to do it for him. Picture Trump calling the Russian ambassador to make a deal in December 2016. Which is what so far? Mueller has come up with nothing and poor Schiff for brains keeps getting his conspiracy theories shot down.

On the other hand there is so much evidence that government insiders and the Hillary campaign truly did try to sway the election with alleged Russian intelligence that many have lost their jobs but hey, democrats get away with it.
