    Do you remember what it was like before Israel attacked in 1967? Remember the small farms and olive groves, the almonds and pomegranate trees? The West bank and East Jerusalem were lovely and peaceful.

    Do you remember the narrow terraces built by the Romans and maintained by the Palestinians for 2000 years?

    Much of what you say is true. Israeli-Palestinian relations have been on a barbed wire since before 1948, & every attempt to find agreement between them has failed miserably. Between 1948 & the 1990s, it was always the Palestinians who defied any agreement. Since the 1990s, both sides have played a hand at defeating permanent peace. It is indeed, one of this planet's most difficult regions to lead to peace.

    Every square inch of land on Earth can be considered stolen. There is no shortage of land in the region so this looks another Israel is ba'a'ad thread. Im surprised there is only one thread on this.
