Cry me a river. <<MOD EDIT - Removed group insult>> There just aren't enough crazy House members to vote for it, and that's saying something. At least they're not voting at midnight, their preferred time for nefarious maneuvers...

White House says the vote is still on for 3:30
Even though Paul Ryan rushed to the White House to tell Trump they didn't have enough votes for the bill today, press secretary Spicer just said they are still voting this afternoon at 3:30.

The ones that are not voting for it are being blackmailed by Ryan and the ones that are...are being threatened by the Kochs.

The bill is garbage. The Republican establishment sucks... AGAIN!

No: Competition Across State Lines, Tort Reform, HSA improvements, Small Business Pools, Clinics for the poor to defer costs and create a national purchasing pool for drugs and procedures.

This is just Obamacare Light and those opposing it (Democrat and Republican) are doing us all a favor.

Donnie's ADD keeps him from concentrating long enough to follow through on this. It won't matter much anyway, the 24 million who faced losing their insurance will be first in line to vote against him in 2020.

The reason that this bill doesn't include those aspects is because those are not closely associated to tax income and thereby could be subjected to reconciliation. In other words, they know they are not able to reach 60 votes and so they aimed for a bill that could pass with only 51 votes.

Do you even know what that "24 million" number is?

    No, of course you don't.

And I don't fully blame you because the Leftist media just wants to keep you stupid and angry.

That number was the result of Rachel Madcow misreading and then misinterpreting two CBO assessments.

24 million is what you get when you take..

52 million: The number of people the CBO calculated (back in 2008 prior to Obamacare) would be uninsured in the year 2026, and then subtract...

28 million: The number of people the CBO calculated would still be uninsured in the year 2026 once Obamacare had been fully implemented.

Heh, the 24 million number literally has NOTHING to do with Trump or the new GOP plan.

    Isn't that amazing?

Isn't it just so ****ing amazing how badly you were fooled?

Most "informed" and "educated" party right?

    My ass.

It seems more like RyanCare as the things Trump said he wanted in it are not.

Amazing huh? In his next post he'll be crowing that the Democrats have no power and can do nothing to stop anything the Republicans want to do.

The Koch Kids have actually come out and told Republican congressional members that if they vote against the bill, they will pour money into their campaign coffers when they come up for reelection.

Gotta love that Citizens United ruling.

Nice rant. What should really concern you is that it appears that the republican moderates are not going to support this.
    Key word......Moderates.
These people always, always support the republican agenda.
I agree with the contention that Obama care has major issues, or in your jargon, it sucks.
Trump Care seems to suck more.
The country would function much better if there were more moderates & less Left wing crazies & Right wing nut jobs.

The Kochs do not think the bill goes far enough to hurt average people and to put more tax cuts in the bank accounts of the wealthy. Ryan is just a prick that profits from the bill even if it is only as lousy as it is right now.

Nope. Sorry. You can't claim it's Obamacare once the right-wing lays its destructive talons on it. This is straight up a GOP fiasco and will be treated as such in the next election.

It appears that as many democrats will vote for Trump Care as republicans voted for Obama Care.
But that's not your problem today.
Today's problem is that all the republicans are not engaging in tribal warfare.

You better hope it passes. Or else we will be in a situation where the full disaster of the Dem-inspired ACA will be felt by all Americans, with Dems applauding the spectacle.

So trump care fails? Does this mean we can ride obama care until it fails, then go back to the way it was before obama came along? Works for me.
