Ok and now run those statistics against how well we were doing in the 1980s under Ronald Reagan. We don't need to vote for Romney or Obama for a real candidate. We need something different. Those stats you run are against George Bush. I think many conservatives already know just like Sarah Palin, Rick Santorum, and even Romney, Bush was a humiliation to the GOP. But things don't have to be this way in the future. People who are conservative can vote libertarian. People who don't like Obama but are more liberal can vote Green Party. You could vote for people who care about what YOU think and not these coin operated idiots. Someone who could actually CHANGE the country.

    More lies from media matters

Jobs created did not even keep up with population growth, The recession ended in 2009 yet we have almost no recovery

GDP growth has been very small unless you consider less than 2% good

There is no proof the stimulus helped.

1.5% gdp growth and 8.2% unemployment is not good.

I think people just won't listen to me. Blaming Bush Sr., Bush Jr. and Obama does not mean you have to shift to either party. Blame the actual jerk who was in office when it happened and the actual people in Congress when it happened. Reagan was a conservative, his era was prosperous. Clinton was a liberal, his era was prosperous. Bush Jr. was a conservative we were doing horribly then. Obama is a liberal, we're doing horribly now.

We focus too much on political party lines. Why not just focus on doing better and who could be the right man for the job? Not what Fox News and CNN tell you. If a man is smart and can keep the country running well, then it shouldn't matter WHAT political party he belongs to. Thus far I can not see anything getting better under Romney OR Obama. So my personal opinion is to pick someone who can be smarter about it. Don't focus so much on political party. Focus on who can do the job well. Pretend like you own a business and you want to hire the right man for the job who can do it well and not just who looks good on paper and is photogenic.

The OP has got to be kidding. The things that hurt the middle class the most are out of control. Like gas prices.

    Corrected.

BTW I find it funny how conservatives and liberals are debating who in office Romney or Obama will make things worse than they are now. Nobody is discussing who you could vote for who will actually make things better. Mostly because they know neither Romney or Obama actually can do that. We're expected to vote based on who will be more of a joke as the POTUS.

4 years ago our country was on the eve of the WORST recession since the Great Depression.

4 years ago Ossama bin laden was making plans to kill Americans

4 years ago Americans with pre-existing conditions were being denied Health Insurance

4 years ago the Auto Industry was on the brink of bankruptcy

4 years ago American soldiers were dying in Iraq

Are we better now than we were 4 years ago?!?

Seriously??? Of course we are! Come on people! Open your eyes!

Our troubles are not gone nor can Obama IMO do what he said he was going to in the first election. Everyone is out of hope and change. Nobody wants Romney in there who is Bushness as usual. We want something new. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say we're tired of BS artists who could care less about actually making some real positive change which will benefit the American people and not their own agendas. We didn't find hope and change at the end of the rainbow. Instead we found a big stinky pile of fake compassion for the American people and puddles of broken promises and dreams.
