Its safe. This video proves it. I took this video yesterday. Had fun. Discuss. See the dog? [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLAuPjbbCPI"]Otay Border: Driving into Mexico - YouTube[/ame]
LOL, last time I drove into Mexico, we parked at a meter on the street while we ran into a jewelry store. Came out and there was a guy with one leg and a pink flourescent crutch who demanded we pay him a fine for parking there (still had minutes on the meter). We refused, he pulled open his coat to reveal a gun in his waistband, we jumped in the car and hauled ass. He chased us down the street, swinging that dang pink crutch. I still have nightmares about that dude... I won't be driving in Mexico again. But glad you had fun!
thats scary never been involved in an armed robbery situation, would have probably gave him some pesos juarez is dangerous from the news, best to stay in cancun or acapulco
If you ever need a ride, ride with me. I can handle the (*)(*)(*)(*) panhandlers. What did you think of the cinematography? it's from the passengers point of view.
LOL, panhandlers don't usually carry guns!! I can handle the chiclet salesmen! Doesn't look like the Mexico I'm used to seeing... but then again, our border towns probably aren't as fancy as yours! What was the occasion? Just looking for a good time... or were you on a mission?
I'm curious too. It looks like you were headed to a specific destination. Looked like an apartment complex or something.
Didn't look like "Boys Town" and besides, that's outside Nuevo Laredo. Went there once, too. Me & my ex got in a taxi and asked him to take us there. Then asked him if he ever took his wife to Boy's Town. He LOLed and said, "No, no, no... never on Sunday!" LOL, it was quite an experience. Walled in compound with barbed wire along the top. Dirt roads and about 15 little clubs with ceilings that looked like they were made from marshmallows with glitter sprinkled over 'em. The 'girls' were VERY brazen and kept hitting on my ole man and telling me I could watch. LOL, no wonder he's my ex, eh?
I have some issues to work down there. Tijuana is looking nice these days...the streets were all paved brand new about 3 years ago. Thats what you see in the vid. I haven't been down there to have a GOOD TIME in a while. Want to, however.
Mebbe dey should rename it Dodge City - fer dodgin' the bullets Forget cliff diving, Acapulco now known as hot spot in Mexico's drug war August 24, 2011 - The days of jet set vacationing in Acapulco are long gone, but the Mexican resort city is once again in the news, this time for drug violence. It is one of the few tourist spots in Mexico suffering from public shootouts.
