Eventually they will, for eventually we do run out of cheaper fossil fuels. We all know that.

The huge mistake, which is owned 100% by the leftwads, was to push green energy too soon, when it still required massive subsidies.

    Its day will come.

Twist things around. We subsidise startups in area important to us, the people. Our elected officials do their jobs, without the shocking interference we see in the US political system.

    I'm twisting nothing around.

First you claim that windmills cost the same as fossil fuels.

Then you have to admit that they really cost more.

You must have comprehension issues. Read back and differentiate between "Land based" and "sea based".

While YOU are yapping about "Liberals" and subsidies, others are doing the work. In 9 months a new technology will be available that will save industry billions of dollars and eliminate the US buying Rare ores from China.

But you keep it up.. Framing it as "partisan politics"

Thank you for that nugget of truth Margot! We good capitalists are shocked that industries, that are clearly "last Century" and destroying our playground, would put such fierce efforts into beating back the newer, cleaner trends. Why not scan the horizon for what will absolutely be here and begin to put the US and her GDP back in the game with the latest and the very best of what the world is demanding?

Hint: that demand is not for "more unaffordable nuclear and carbon emissions". Invest accordingly fer crissakes! Maybe a refresher course in freshmen highschool economics would help?

Mac does that all the time with his arguments. He does not possess much knowledge on this subject and merely parrots talking points.

The US military is slowly removing itself from the complete dependency of fossil fuels to a limited dependency on fossil fuels. They aready have programs in place to use solar and wind for electronic equipment and that technology can be engineered for mechanical equipment.

The main reason is for strategic purposes, i.e., the Taliban are targeting the fuel supply trucks, they are much easier targets.

Wow, so even the Europeans are getting it. It's more expensive then what we are using.

About time they pulled their head out of their asses.

Actually.. its all about MONEY.. If you can save medium sized manufacturing $600K a year and clean up the environment... its win Win for everyone.

But none of these jerks who are yapping about "liberals" will roll up their sleeves and do ANYTHING.
