If you feed the birds & other assorted outside critters, don't forget to set out extra food and bird seed. You probably should set out bird seed more frequently than usual, as the little feathered bandits will be hungry. It's now 1017 AM & I've already done it twice & they have come right out on the deck - juncos, white throated sparrows, house sparrows, Carolina wrens, chickadees, tufted titmouse, starlings, cardinals, brown headed cowbirds, and some others I haven't bothered looking up. I took the precaution of stocking up on their food as well as human food. They get hungry too. Add bluejay, downy woodpecker
I used to do that but they never seemed interested in becoming food for the feral cats, so they always passed on it.
