It is interesting how upset some people get just from being in the presence of other people speaking a language they don't understand. Some people really get upset over it. These same people don't seem to get bent out of shape by being in the same room with people speaking quietly or far enough away that their private conversation can't be heard clearly.

Do some people feel they have a 'right' to know everyone else's business? How about reading over your shoulder, or gaping at your computer/phone screen?

If two people are in the checkout line with you at the local grocer speaking 'X' language to each other, guess what? It's none of your business.

    Stems from insecurity, I suppose.
