Apparently Dr. Seuss is offensive, but Hitler's Mein Kampf is totally not offensive!

Why does the left think that it can get away with such insane double standards?

One is a history books that tells of actual events....the other is a children's book.

I get a feeling that anything you dont like is always "the left".

Sure sounds like Ebay, and book stores are doing it on Dr Seuss estate request.

EBay, Barns & Noble and other book stores make decisions which make business sense to them, so they bow down to profits, which is what you would expect any corporation would do. You expect them to make decisions based which political party they support, which proves you have no idea how private companies operate. It would be idiotic to run a corporation like EBay based on political ideology.

His cartoons used the "N" word, and they chose to not sell them anymore (6 books out of 60 or so). For some reason this really bothers so, which is why I asked if you personally use the word around kids. Do you use it?

Dr Seuss estate decided to pull the books, and book stores and ebay followed suit.

 

Being ok with the most popular market place sites banning the resale of it, is a backdoor way of making sure it is painful to sell. Just like banning gun stores in a city is a backdoor way of making sure only the cops and the criminals have the guns.

And based on your views in here, I have no doubt you would have any problem with cancel culture getting people fired for owning the books as a next step to ensure the liberal nanny state control has its fingers dug in. Which is why you will want to only the state to have the guns; makes things like this easier.

Dr Seuss estate pulled the books from print and eBay pulled already existsing books from being traded on their platform, even though it changes nothing, because someone has to own them and they will just remain with their current owner! So it's not the same thing. And this is supposed to make them lots of money? By limiting trading on their platform!
