I hear the military has joined in an uprising : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56LPWA3e1z0 Scary times for them. I hope they figure it all out and make it a great Country again, with lots of tourism enriching the world and themselves.
rumours that Tamarod have chosen El Baradei as neutral spokesperson to deliver their plan for transition post Morsi Military helicopters flying low now over Downtown and Heliopolis as protesters cheers and let off fireworks
Better late than never, Abu. You talk like the Ikhwan have not been clear and open about who and what they are. It's hard to believe that the Egyptian people elected a bunch of Islamist autocrats to power and then expected them not to behave like a bunch of Islamist autocrats. To compound your error, you were warned this would happen and yet you elected them anyway. You talk a lot about governments, but a free society demands a responsible citizenry. When the people make bad decisions, they have only themselves to blame for the negative consequences of those decisions.
Tanks rolling into Suez and LIVE!! military exercises! North Sinai big Salafist presence so not sure what is going on there........? - - - Updated - - - oh please an AMERICAN talking to me about electing bad candidates
I speak from experience, Abu. It's a lot easier to learn from other people's mistakes than to repeat them yourself.
Baloney. US oil companies buy oil from Venezuela, too, but George Bush didn't walk hand-in-hand with Hugo Chavez the way he did with King Abdullah, and the US doesn't provide patriot missiles and training for Venezuelan forces.
rumours Arrest warrant was issued for Baltagi after yesterday invitation for violence Baltagi and FJP Guidance Bureau members stopped at Cairo airport attempting to leave the country after arrest warrant was issued for them to attend a judicial hearing regarding them as a threat to the sovereignty of Egypt All senior members of the Muslim Brotherhood and members of the former People's Assembly belonging to the FJP banned from leaving the country and are to be arrested if they attempt to do so. Officers clashed in Cairo airport with Chancellor Talat Abdullah the General Prosecutor while he was at the airport to check his travel abroad to escape the events taking place in the country and immigration officers prevented Talaat Abdullah travelling Just like Mubarak they are fleeing like rats! I'm expecting army to move Morsi and his family and Qandil to Sharm next

It's interesting to see what the police and military are doing. The police have stepped aside (very different from their behavior when Mubarak was in power) so they are effectively siding with the anti-Morsi demonstrators. The military (with the Army leading) has set a deadline for resolution of this problem but have not indicated how they will resolve things if that deadline passes, which must make the MB very nervous. If Morsi ends up being ousted it may owe a lot more to the brute force waiting in the wings than it would to the actions of the demonstrators.
Ex Egyptian President turned comedian Hosni Mubarak from his cell says 'Morsi should resign to avoid any lose of life' Only in Egypt!
Abu, 1. What can you tell us about the poor Scandinavian tourist brutally raped in Tahrir Square? 2. Also, how Egyptian women are participating in crowded demonstrations ? Doesn't it cause unpleasent situation for the Religious Muslims ?
Reckon Al CIAda is arming the "Muslim" Brotherhood to shaft Egypt as they been doing in Syria and Libya. How are they going to finish slaughtering the Christians in Syria if they lose Egypt to the real Muslims?
