    Oh, I missed their qualifier so therefore they were actually right? Give me a break!
    That was fake news! Why not say there were potentially 306 faithless electors? That
    would be just as true and just as fake and just the same amount of BS!

    Most of those stories all week didn't include the qualifier either as far as I know, not that
    it matters if they did, IT'S STILL A FAKE NEWS STORY!

    I've read most of the Federalist papers as well, so big deal. So what is the symbolism of
    a failed attempt by the media to upset the apple cart of the electoral college? I think it is
    symbolic of a media that is out of touch with the mainstream of the American public.

    Let's face it, the biggest fake news of all time was the WMDs in Iraq and that Saddam Hussein had ties to Al Qaeda and aided them in plotting 9/11. That piece of fake news did not have any qualifying clauses! I never fell for that, you did!!!

    No one here can debate that US intelligence was wrong when connecting Saddam to 9/11. Along with nations that provided the CIA intelligence for that claim.

    But, but, but...The Iraqi's and Saddam did have WMD's.

    I don't know of anyone who claims that Saddam aided them in plotting 9/11, but Saddam did have ties to
    Al Queda and many, many other terror groups. The only people I've seen make the claim that Saddam
    had anything to do with 9/11 are liberals claiming that Bush or other conservatives have made that claim.
    Of course, that is the disinformation campaign of liberals we call fake news.

    Quit propagating more fake news.

    He had had contact with Al quaeda and other groups and wanted to further those ties.
    No one claimed that Saddam aided the 911 attackers in their plotting or execution.

    Under dual use monitored programs to make sure Iran did not become stronger and of course later we found out Saddam could not be ttrusted at all and would always be a threat and violate such agreements and hide things ffrom inspectors. Which is why in 1996 President Clinton signed the ILA which made Saddam's removal the oofficial policy of the USA.
