Competing politicians always talk s**t about each other, that is normal. Pocahontas has proven to the entire country she has no credibility, and she will not be able to shake that image.

Actually, most people will see it as a dishonest attempt to gain preferential treatment in college by claiming to be something she was not. Her credibility is shot to hell with most of the public, and she has already declared war on the eliete, between the two, I doubt she will even get the nomination, she is unelectable.

 

I find it funny that the conservatives wants to reduce Warren's life to ONE single instance of misjudgment. Yes, she should not have claimed native heritage without having proof. She has apologized for it. Is there anything else in her life that they can criticize? If not, they should have not voted for GWB either, because ONE instance of drunk driving clearly demonstrated a general lack of character.

On the other hand, Trump does abhorrent things pretty much every week. if you want to look at skeletons in the closet, Warren has one, Trump has many. What does that tell you about the hypocrisy of those who think that screaming "Pocahontas" will kill Warren's bid?

trump has lied non stop on both the campaign trail and since he took office. He doesn’t seem to have lost much of any support. I guess honesty doesn’t count for much anymore.

That said her one lie could have very well have been a mistake.

Credibility is a fragile thing, people do not care about the rest of someones life what they remember is " Your President is not a crook" " I did not have sexual relations with that woman" " Iran has WMD's" . Warren has lied to the American people and that makes her radioactive and un-electable. Americans have already seen clearly they cannot trust Warren, she is a liar.

I personally have a lot more on her than that, but that's neither here nor there, nor will it matter if she's the nominee (which I personally think she's the most likely candidate right now).

I do think the argument, "Most Americans see safe and legal access to abortion as serving the national interest," as an odd one however. That's merely saying, "lobbyists are bad unless they are lobbying for an issue I support, than lobbyists are good."

 

She will get push back from democrats in congress. there used to be a saying "The Pelosi click" that was the sound of Nancy running down the hallway her high heels clicking so she could call her broker and buy stock after leaving a meeting and finding out insider info. BUT according to the law once she is told something as a rep of the people it is no longer considered inside info. This is how she and her husband became multiple millionaires. Not just her but reps on both sides of the aisle, so Warrens ideas will not fly with the leeches in congress.

 

I am. By asking a business owner to give up his business will eliminate a lot of smart people from running for President. I view tax returns as nobody's business other than the taxpayer and the IRS.
