    I WOULD Be.
Because, barring an unforeseeable cataclymic development, Trump WON'T be allowed back onto Twitter.
Besides, WHY would Trump want back onto Twitter?

Hey, I'm on your side of this issue. I don't use Twitter/Facebook because they are too authoritarian. I get my kicks on discord, etc.

But the point still stands. Statements of fact can be the most offensive. It's why some people lie to the ones they love.
Yelling it like it is on a social media platform can come with nefarious intent. So just claiming a person was speaking facts is not a defense.

    So what?
"Content Policies" differ across social media.
4chan has different policies than the average KPop Forum.
    Big Whoop...

He is an eccentric but brilliant nutcase to be sure. Using money to right a wrong seems noble enough to me. He also will make a bunch of money when he sells the stock.

Better Musk and his MarSec goons than Biden and the corrupt FBI.

    Lol.

Now there is a desire to promote free speech, and having control out of the left wings hands represents a risk.

Where were you when conservatives were being silenced foe telling the truth?

It's a corporately owned, platform that people have to agree to the terms of use, etc. before they are allowed on it. Use some logic, free speech does not allow people, no matter who they are, to violate those terms of use. If a person feels that the they did not violate the terms, they could go to court. Did Trump go to court? Answer, no, because he simply could not win. Musk is just playing and ultimately will be in just for the money. Secondly, there are no longer conservatives in the Trump Party and they only view 'truth' as a mere convenience.

There may be some truth to this. My friend knows a someone who works at Tesla and said if any employee approaches Musk and talk to him when Musk is visiting the facility, that employee can get the pink slip.

Social media really has done absolutely nothing positive for humanity. Only revealed how many disgusting people can be. Just creates division and anger. It’s created a generation of “successful” people with no redeeming skills. Wish it never existed. In its most basic form like early Facebook it was still designed around malicious intent.

The left continues to decry free speech. Claiming this is bad as absurd

The funny thing is if democrats behaved rational like they used Musk would probably be one. But they have been hijacked by a bunch of radical anti-science weirdos and thus you see things like this happening more and more.

The problem is how the TOS is applied. Apparently the TOS allows for the Ayatollah to tweet constant "Death to America" and "Death to Israel", yet tweeting a legitimate story about Hunter Biden's laptop is against TOS or stating that the vaccine does not prevent infection gets you banned. Both which were 100% true stories.

Great, I agree with you about the freedom of speech on a private platform.

What I am calling attention to is that you are concerned about how Musk may impact that freedom of speech, but were you concerned when twitter was actively supressing speech based on political lines?
