    Somehow I still miss what that has to do with a militia.

    Oh well, I just have to realize it makes no sense at all.

    Dude, we have a Commerce Clause not a war on illegals clause. We should not be losing money on Commerce at our borders. Only the right does that while practicing their Communism, in Cuba.

    otherwise,

    you would know that well regulated militias are much more cost effective than our wars on crime, drugs, poverty, and terror.

    We have a Second Amendment not a common Offense clause nor any general Warfare clause.

    Well, I readily admit to that.

    I find Causeheads to be among the most mindless and irrational kind of animal out there. They are so dedicated to their own personal causes that common sense, reasoning, and even logic go right out the window in defense of their own personal crusade. People who should be enemies in most instances can become amazing allies, just so that their causes coincide. And people who should be allies can become mortal enemies, because their causes do not mesh very well.

    One such instance I always love seeing is the Far-Left when it comes to religion. Most of the time bitter enemies in almost every Cause there is (Drugs, Abortion, Gay Marriage), but then amazing allies at other times (Poverty, Capitol Punishment).

    But thanks for noticing I do not have a cause. I am not a Causehead, and am not all dedicated to this topic (either for or against) to loose my reasoning and logic ability.

    What does the "Commerce Clause" have to do with criminals, poverty and sovereignty ?

    Do you know what a militia is.

    Do you know what a well regulated militia is ?

    Do you know what a not so well regulated militia is ?

    Have you ever read the U.S. Militia Laws ?

    Are you a member of the militia ? I am. If you don't know you might be in violation of the law, a criminal or a traitor.

    For 190 years America was a nation of the "citizen soldier" until the "New Left" those radical leftist during the 60's hijacked the Democrat Party and decided that America would no longer be a nation of citizen soldiers. They ended military conscription, passed the "War Powers Act" and demanded a large standing military made up of all volunteers. The left was warned that it would get extremely expensive down the road and it has. Now the left don't want to pay for that military they demanded forty years ago.

    We have borders, our international borders have nothing to do with the commerce clause or communism. If Mexicans want to be Americans they have two choices, immigrate legally or apply to become a state.

    Are you trying to say that citizen militias are better then standing armies and federal police? That that's a big part of why the second amendment exists? If so I agree but you word it so poorly.

    You must be on the right instead of EquityNet. Yes, our borders are that form of "affirmative action" regarding our Commerce Clause. Only the right doesn't seem to understand the concept.

    Especially for our wars on crime, drugs, poverty, and terror. In short, any abstraction and even Insurrections and Rebellions.
