... the Trump administration forced out four senior-level management officials at the State Department.

Breaking: Four top STAteDept Mgmt officials all fired by Trump admin, part of effort to "clean house" - officials tell @eliselabottcnn
— Jim Sciutto (@jimsciutto) January 26, 2017

Prior to CNN’s report, the Washington Post’s Josh Rogin had written that the officials may have resigned at their own volition. But a deliberate housecleaning is actually more consistent with Rogin’s dispatch.

There's some confusion about this, but that'll happen when someone (WaPo) gets it wrong and then it later needs to be corrected.

I still don't see any confirmation save for these unnamed "officials". Sorry, I'll stick with the first and most numerously quoted narrative on this issue.
In any event, they were pushed or they jumped themselves, it can't help but improve the State Department to clear out the old rotten wood from a
horribly insulated DC bureaucracy that has a terrible record over the last eight years.

Anyone in any government position that could have any political influence at all that was appointed or hired during the Obama admin must be viewed as tainted and thrown out on their ass..STAT!

Post #77 again. I haven't seen a thing that changes my mind until someone other than CNN updates this story.

And so the dictatorship grows.
Most of the senior leaders have been there for many different presidents and are typically a non partisan group.

Shows you how intolerant and ideology rigid the left has become.

sorry, but there's no parallel whatsoever between 4 people leaving State & "the [Trump] dictatorship grows".

How is it a dictatorship if they voluntarily resigned?

This part is confusing.

Seems to me they just voted themselves into the unemployment line. Who gets to quit their job and say "I'm gonna go work in this department instead"?

People who think they can pull a Political stunt, but then still want their pensions. The resignations should be from the entirety of Government.

When a new president comes in, they have to turn in a letter of resignation. Then it's up to the new president as to whether they stay or go. They were aked to go. Hills and Kerry's State Department needs to be drained. Patrick Kennedy actually tried to get some of Hillary's classified emails downgraded, so that she wouldn't be in trouble. Corrupt through and through....

After what Hillary did at the State Department and the coverups, why would the new administration ask them to stay? As I said, when a new president comes in, they all have to turn in letters of resignation. It is then up to the new administration as to whether they will accept the resignations. These 4 who were part of the State Department corruption, were asked to leave. They serve at the pleasure of the president. The State Department really needs a housecleaning and hopefully Tillerson will do that when he finally arrives.

As for "dictators" don't for one second think that Obama didn't do the same thing. It just wasn't publicized, because MSM did not want to be perceived as criticizing the messiah in any way.

It seems you aren't aware of the folks leaving. What they did and for how long they did it.

And what hilary had to do with any of this, is your guess and no one elses. Not even relevant.

Typically what happens at the SES level is that they are encouraged to resign, instead of facing the embarrassment of being fired.
