Farmers can't give away or sell raw milk in New York state. It's against the law. Then again if your a Democrat the doing something against the law is no problem. Look at who is running for president. That should say it all....

Then why doesn't the government take it and give it to the poor, while giving the farmers a tax credit for it? That would cut down on welfare payments too, wouldn't it?

Powdered milk contains oxidized cholesterol which is extremely bad for you because it is like instant-plaque for your arteries.

I am so sick of mooching dairy farmers wanting the government to give them money every time they have to take a loss. There is clearly too many dairy farmers in the world and they are overproducing. Most of them need to get real jobs.

In Australia we had the odd situation recently where our crying mooching millionaire dairy farmers were telling us that $2 was too cheap for a bottle of milk. Apparently we were terrible people if we bought supermarket brand $2 milk from one of our two large supermarket groups - Coles or Woolies. The crying mooching Australian dairy farmers are producing too much milk and cannot sell to Russia now thanks to US sanctions on Russia so the price of milk has dropped - and it has dropped globally not just here in Australia. Look at the crying Euro dairy farmers. *******n moochers. So anyway - our moocher dairy farmers cried so hard that they got the government to give them some kind if aid package or something. Most if these moochers are millionaires but apparently the tax payer has to bail them out every time they are looking at a loss. We do not hear from them when the market is good for them but if they look like taking a loss then the taxpayer has to bail them out. They do not want the price of milk to be regulated in any way - they want the profits when the market is good and then a bail out from the taxpayer when things are not good. So-called primary producers are the biggest moochers on earth. Primary producers cost the Australian government more money than Aboriginals. People woukd be shocked if we added all the billions farmers cost Australia each year.

And why are the American dairy farmers crying? What exactly do they want? Why do we need to hear their little sob stories? They want to mooch money from tue taxpayer so they can remain lazy do $%$% all millionaires do they? Hiw much does it cost to run a dairy farm do you think? Time for a lot of these American dairy farmers to sell uo and get real jobs like everyone else isnt it?

Canadian Dairy farmers are the smartest. Look into it.

Edit - See why would the government spend $20 on these bloody moochers? It outrageous welfare for millionaires. Let these moochers sink. Let them sell up and get real bloody jobs the lazy moochers millionaires. Why in hell would the US government give welfare bail outs to farmers? Would the government bail any of you out if you had a failing small business? Of course not so why farmers? And does the average person in the street honestly give a $%$% about farmers? It is as if government thinks that throwing never ending welfare at farmers to continually prop them up is a political winner. But is it really? How many of us are farmers? Not many of us. Let them sell up and get real jobs.

Why don't they make dried milk and let our government purchase it and donate it to the UN in place of cash payments to the UN? At least it couldn't be easily converted into weaponry by someone.

I hope Russian kids are getting enough milk.

As for your comments against farmers, try eating without their contributions to the economy.

CEA is the way of the future. And it also makes sense for corporations employing farm managers and farm workers to ensure food security - not that food security is a problem in modern times - overproduction and inefficiency are the problems. We would be a lot better off without 'farmers' - especially the ones that need help from the government to prop them up.

And you are arguing that farmers are hard workers are you? They are glorified farm managers, and they pay people to do any hard work. Most farmers are very very lazy people and that do bugger all.

Why do you think the government should give welfare to farmers to prop them up? Should the government prop all small business up or just the lazy mooching farmers?

Democrats control the government... The simplest and efficient way to distribute the milk to poor Americans and the poor in Africa both here and abroad is to spray dry the milk and ship the powder specific affected points in the U.S. and Africa.

Not me, I'm spending more on food and getting less food for the buck than before Obama's phony economy.
