Epidemic of Homelessness in California

There is an epidemic of white homeless males in my county--while the male, Mexican immigrants, and black males live for free in mamacita's free, government housing. I have never seen a homeless Mexican and I've only seen a few homeless blacks where I live. When you apply for government housing one of the questions they ask is: "What ethnicity are you." You confess to being a white male, you are almost automatically disqualified for housing. Doesn't matter if you served in the military.

Is this a joke? How can that possibly be legal?

 

right wing, "hate on the poor"? equal protection of the law, should have prevented this, a long time ago.

 

This is no joke. I helped a white elderly lady fill out her application and it definitely asked about ethnicity.
By the way, there are no government houses for this elderly woman, and they wouldn't even take her application, but mamacita is living in luxury government housing (compared to where they came from) at the tax payer expense. i

 

Yep. Needy Americans, including white males, should have first dibbs on government housing. It is heartbreaking seeing all these white males shuffle down the street in their dirty clothes, lugging their belongings around in heavy backpacks.

 

Good god. Don't be so totally heartless. These people are homeless, and those carts carry everything they own. Giving them jobs, food and shelter for cleaning up the streets is a good idea though. Its also a good idea to give shelter to veterans first, Americans who have worked but fallen on hard times should be considered next. Everyone else last.

Its also a good idea to make able-bodied people living in government housing work for the roofs over their head, and that includes illegal Mexican women. All the illegal immigrant women have to do to get free food, and housing is have anchor babies. And, while mamcitas have the luxury of staying home with their children, working American woman have to leave their kids at day care, pay outrageous day care bills, and still foot the bill for the immigrants free food and housing.

 

Wow. Hating on homeless people. It is true that drugs and alcohol use is common among the homeless but there are many homeless people who have mental illnesses, or have just 'slipped through the cracks'. Like I mentioned in an earlier post: most of the homeless in my country are white males who have fallen through the cracks, and don't have the right skin color or sex to get government housing. They are not animals.

 

They come here for the handouts.

 

equal protection of the law should mean, more efficient housing markets when Labor can simply apply for unemployment compensation if they are not employed.

we should be making money from foreign nationals wanting to come to the US. And, all foreign nationals in the US, should have a federal id.
