He never said he was gay. I got that early this morning when I first saw the thread. As post 94 shows.

 

America is founded on principles of equality and justice. Those priciples are written in our founding documents and our leaders are sworn to defend those principles. These documents are NOT just some suggestion.

The bigotry and racial hate expressed from the oval office today is something that NO AMERICAN can rightfully tolerate.

We are a government of, by and for the people and that office is OUR office.

Perhaps you might need to show some examples. Trump has shown through his actions to be one of the most inclusive presidents, most compassionate to minorities of all kinds, we've seen in my lifetime. Address the members of this forum who have demonstrated their intolerance. When someone, for example, proclaims that Eric would't be welcome as a member of the LGBT community that's actually intolerant bigotry, and that wasn't from the whitehouse, it was from a lefty poster on this thread. Sorry, your attempt to deflect falls flat.

so why not the son of a man that says he is lgbtq because of his love for his dad?

Trump repeatedly outs himself as a white supremacist, and I'd propose that's not something exhibeted by presidents in the modern era. He's tried to use his powers to deny equal support to states that don't agree with him - again, something not exhibited by presidents in the modern era. I could go on.

Suggesting that this president is inclusive in ANY WAY is absolutely ridiculous.

As for Eric Trump, guessing that his views would not be accpted by the greater LGBTQ community can not be pitched as indicating bigotry. It's a simple analysis of statements by Eric Trump and the likely impact on the lives of those who are LGBTQ.

Besides, Trump made his deeply held bigotry crystal clear in his "debate" performance.


The US presidency is supposed to be showing leadership for ALL America - NOT promotion for the white supremacy movement in America.
