How does affirmative action apply to professional sports?

Yes, the Germany/Nazi comparison was off, as Germany was united under a recognized government supported by its people and was expanding its territory using the state military and conventional tactics for reasons that had nothing to do with religious or cultural differences. We didn't wipe out the Germans and Nazis were chased down by various contributors to that effort.

That's not much like what's happening anywhere in the ME.

So, I think the point of the quote was that the number of those we really want to stop is tiny. And, it is a tiny % of the ME.

And, only 17% of Islam is in the ME.

We'll be far less successful when we fail to properly identify those we oppose.

So, Curt was right that this is worth a tweet. And, I'll bet ESPN simply wants to entirely ignore the real world to help maintain it's sports business.

This was the final nail in coffin. I will not listen to ESPN radio, or watch any of their programming.

lolol. i, hon, I don't do sports, E.V.A.R. I despise sports and their hideous people, but even I know ESPN is not a program. (Hint: The N kinda gives it away.)

(I'm not even going to try to explain it to you. Some things you just can't fix.)

Didnt say it did or did not, I'm just reminding you that we live in a Society that is trying to give advantage to people base don Skin Color. Why would you assume someone is a racist for pointing out ESPN doing their part to advance the narrative?

Heres some examples of ESPN advancing the narrative, as the othe rposter claimed.

Isnt it enough to recognize Pro golfer Brown dies at 80? Why the need to tell us the bolded? Who cares?

Just a few, need more to see the pattern the other poster was claiming? Heck that video link at the bottom shows their mindset quite clearly as being one who is counting colors and expecting XX number of Black to be represented. That one alone proves the other posters opinion to be true.

Hopefully, you and everyone else will let them know. Otherwise, you're pizzing in the wind on a forum that they don't read and couldn't care less about.

Let them know. And let advertisers know.

You should have been on their message boards... Talk about horrid. The mods would suspend your account anytime you said something negative about liberal politics. You couldn't even debate.

If it weren't for college football they'd most likely have their viewership drop by tens of millions.

Or how NFL Execs and Coaches continually pass or downgrade white Running backs or receiver's. based on preconceived notions of lack of athletic ability. Or how white basketball players are viewed as soft, and how black players say this out loud. Reference Vince Carter at one point yelling to the bench get a black player on me, this white boy cant guard me.

Big difference between being a Nazi Party MEMBER and an old Muslim woman who may or may not be radicalized. And how could a more 'stringent' definition of "radicalized" result in a percentage more than 4x as high?

Baseball players are dumb. Pitchers are dumb even by baseball player standards. Schilling is dumb even by pitcher standards.

ESPN gets my attention for every Saturday beginning in September and ending in December or January, depending on how well LSU does. Other than that, I despise that channel.

What bs spin in this post. It's hilarious the twists and turns the propagandists go through to try and lie to people.

    - - - Updated - - -

Watching a game on the channel is different than listening to the uneducated hacks talk.

If you truly want to stop supporting ESPN, you'd have to dump cable.

If enough people stopped watching them, their ratings would go way down and the cable company would drop them.

Well the best thing to come of this would be declining viewership, followed by a hostile takeover by the American Family Association.

Hey, good luck with that... seriously. I'm not going to shed any tears over a loss of ESPN, but bear in mind, it's #1 in cable ratings, period. You'd have better luck cutting off your support by dumping cable.

And when you think about it, with sites like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime, you can get away with not having cable.

To stop watching them means you're doing your part. Nobody cares if they're sorry or not, and nobody thinks they'll go under for it. What are you doing?

Indeed... I used to watch several of their shows but I stopped watching when I realized how politicized ESPN was. If I want politics, I'll watch the news.

Exactly! I used to watch several of their shows as well and I still remember Stuart Scott's voice and how that reminds me of those days many years ago. I too stopped when they became political. I'm forced to watch certain games on the channel sometimes still though.
