Theresa May's on the skids (and not a moment too soon! 'Brexit means Brexit'? yeah right, if anyone believed/believes that they'll believe anything), and pinching Corbyn's ideas for student loans, and wooing younger voters; and now we have the buffer Boris Johnson waiting in the wings to be our next prime minister  [IMG] despite the fact she gave him a top job to prevent Gove's so-called 'treachery' in his brave attempt at stopping BoJo being PM, and even after all that, now he's going to be PM anyway. [IMG] Honestly, all this **** is making Idiocracy seem like a perfectly normal system of government, and Machiavelli politically naive in comparison.

Edit: And Brenda's not very happy about it either . . .

While I was watching May being interviewed on (I think) Andrew Marr's show, something occurred to me . . . whatever question she's asked, instead of answering it she launches straight into a positive spin non sequitur. She's slowly but surely losing the plot. Or is afraid of the possibility of one by her back-benchers??

[IMG] Did you notice she's talking about capping domestic energy bills? She obviously doesn't know that the energy companies will simply raise their tariffs and it'll be us the taxpayers who actually foot the bill not the grasping providers. Or she does know it but hopes we won't spot it? What an unmitigated disaster this woman has turned out to be; but then who else is there?

Yeah they had some fella on the news this morning from ... what was it... some energy switch website... anyway he was pouring cold water over the whole thing saying it was a waste of time and totally missed the point as you say in your post.

Yeah May is a bit of a waste of rations and as you say who else is there. My feeling is though that I just wish these Tory bozzo's would shut the F up and deal with what they've got as all it does in play into the hands of Corbin and Comrade Kuenssberg. They must be laughing their heads off at all these Tory bellends getting ready to go into self-destruct mode yet again!
