    DeBroglie was French.

    Heisenberg was German.

No. The United States, and only the United States, with it's nuclear arsenal, its ICBM's, it's IRBM's, it's submarine fleet, it's carrier task forces, and its hundred thousand troops in Europe kept the peace and kept them all from learning Russian.

The Russians didn't help, not one bit, unless you count the presence of a persistent cancerous threat from the Warsaw Pact "assistance".

Actually, the people of Trashcanistan are responsible for the Taliban. If they'd made the effort to move into a modern world, abandoning their quaint hate-filled religion, the Soviets wouldn't have been able to steal Trashcanistan in the first place, which meant that the US would never never have had any interest in that (*)(*)(*)(*)hole. Once the US defeated Gorbachev and ended the war the Nobel Peace Prize winner was waging in Trashcanistan, the US had no further interest in that (*)(*)(*)(*)hole, and with reason. IT'S A (*)(*)(*)(*)HOLE!

The US liberated them, they immediately set up their own domestic masters, and they got what they asked for: brutality, regression, poverty, and misery, everything that comes with Islame, they got it.

The US didn't ask them to become muslim. Nor did the Soviet Union. The place has always been a Trashcanistan, and always will, so long as they remain muslim.

    You're right, of course.

All empires throughout history, after suffering a devastating sneak attack that kills thousands and after victory in war that leads to the nuking of the enemy's cities....give all the land acquired in the war back.

The empire of Rome salted the croplands of Carthage, ending that region's ability to be a pain in the ass. The United States salted Trashcanistan with Cobalt-60 Wait, it didn't, because the Mayor wasn't emperor at the time.

The Hittite Empire conquered Isreal and taught it's people how to live like civilized beings in a democratic republic, and worked towards keeping the nation stable until it could be weaned from Hittite assistance. No, wait. The Hittites didn't do that, it's what the US was doing with Iraq, until King Obama (*)(*)(*)(*)ed it up.

The Germans, of course, have two seats on the United States senate, as befits the 51st state. Oh. Wait. The United States taught the former socialist country how to better run a democracy, and let them go.

Yeah, the United States, sure acting like an empire, all right.

You've been busy making them up so far, so make up some more.

That history of what happened in Afghanistan is pure BS. We didn't put the Taliban in place, we helped keep the Russians out. The world blames us when we don't install governments and when we do? You can't have it both ways. Get your backward people out there and doing the job so we can focus on ourselves.

All you need to know, is that America is the most charitable nation in history. None have given anywhere near what we give to the world in charity.

America has stopped more acts of genocide then all other nations combined.

America has done more to alleviate world hunger then any other nation. The Monsanto corporation alone has fed more people overseas then Europeans have.

America keeps the seas safe. Never before has piracy been so low

America keeps borders safe. No other country protects others from outside invasion and conquer then us. Once a popular past time, it has now slowed to a trickle.

More people live in comfort because of our inventions

More people educated abroad then any other country. Especially if you count the internet.

More cures created and shipped then all other nations combined. Germans only come close because they stole merk from us in ww1

Health, education, security, crisis relief - we are the only nation that has given the world most of theirs in every category, and the only super power that has not conquered large territory( we weren't the superpower when we did), or demanded tribute.

Would you prefer the Russians ran the world? The Brits.again? The French? The Japanese after the atrocities they committed? You may trust these countries today, but only because of the influence of America.

The use of the atomic bombs was an act of terror. They purposely MURDERED civilians to scare them into submission. It was no different than what al queda did on 9/11.

All war is ultimately an act of terror sir. It is ulimately decided when one side fears the consequences of continuing to fight more than the consequences of surrender.

It's ALWAYS funny as hell when someone snubs their nose at another person as if they know more..... and then gets schooled. In this case you are completely wrong. The Taliban was already in place as was various other resistance groups fighting the Russians. We helped them. We did not create them. Our role during the 1980's was no different than our role is today.... with the Arab Spring. We armed the rebels and eventually gave them the beloved Stinger missile which was the only thing capable of bringing down the Russian helicopters. I don't know if you support the Arab Spring. But we are in exactly the same role. Another tidbit of information is that it was spearheaded by Democrats lol. Just like Obama is spearheading aid to the rebels.

The Taliban attacked us for two main reasons. We support Israel and we have troops on "Arab Soil." If you know any Arabs you will quickly see that the ONLY result of the conflict between Israel and the rest of the Arab world is bloodshed. Arabs demand a return to Israel. They want equal rights in the Israeli government. They want them to return lands taken in the Six Days War.

Israel will NEVER give those things to the Arab people because it will end their reign as a Jewish state. They cannot let Arabs into the country in great numbers because with civilians... comes terrorists who blow up coffee shops in the middle of the morning. They cannot allow Arabs to vote in their democratic system because quite frankly they are heavily outnumbered and would quickly loose all control of the government thus ending their reign as a Jewish state. It wouldn't take very long for Muslims to oppress Jews so either way you go there will be inequality. They cannot and WILL NOT return the lands taken in the six days war because A) it's essential for strategic defense and B) they won it fair and square.

My advice is don't be an ass. Listen, learn, we all have things to teach each other. I kept my replies simple and non-specific for the sake of time and you twisted nearly everything I said into ignorance. Good work. If the purpose of debate is winning then lying, cheating, and being a genuine dick will help you win. However IMO the real benefit of debate is learning which cannot be achieved by thumbing your nose at other people.

Partially. This goes back much further than US involvement. The Ottoman Empire collapsed upon loosing the first world war. England assumed their territory. When they ceded territory they "redrew" the map (which absolutely pisses Arabs off lol.) All of these countries are fake. There is no cultural divide except for religion. For the most part the Middle East is full of one general ethnic group. Therefore an Arab from Qatar views Palestine as his homeland as well. The constant instability in the region led the United States and various other countries to support military dictatorships. I do not agree with this policy but I do understand it. Someone had to bring stability to the Middle East and it was their best attempt.

We have done evil things. But we've done one hell of a lot more good than bad. I wonder if you can say the same for your own life? I wonder if you have NEVER done anything wrong lol. I'll bet you don't appreciate other people focusing in on your flaws rather than your strengths. Treat your country the same way and try to make it a better place. The US is no more evil than it's people. We have by in large tried to be better than worse and I think the overall effect of our great nation has been a positive thing for the world.

BTW dude.... I was responding to your statement about the Iraq War lol. That is a very specific time period. I outlined the benefits of the war and your response was to go completely out of the timeline being discussed.... by you.... so that you could continue being a dick.

Yes you are so great and wise. I'll bet you sniff your own farts with pride.

Man you are something special. You made one or two points and then insult after insult after insult. You did not attempt to discuss anything you just immediately shifted to total arrogance. That's funny as hell. Ok my friend... I know their people, history and politics. But I'm not at all interested in speaking with you. I can find a lot better ways to waste a Saturday.

The Japanese were torturing and dismembering people in the name of science at the time and promised to fight to the death every last man woman and child. They were enslaving millions, and treating them harshly. Being realistic, were there any civilians in imperial Japan? Would it matter if the atom bomb saved both American and Japanese lives?

We also rebuilt their country and wrote a constitution that has served them fairly well. They have injectors unprecedented peace and freedoms since. Would we have fared so well had they won?

I have been to those nations, I've been apart of Global Village program, and also I've been on business for work. Have you ever been to the heart of Africa or downtown Baghdad? Its funny you apparently have not read any other posts by me or you would know I'm a traveler for business and charity. I honestly doubt you have ever even left whatever country you are from and just spread hate on the internet. So thanks for acting like you know me, cause you don't know a single thing about me. So I guess I'll just act like I know you, have you ever even been to America well I have and they are nicest least gun using mother (*)(*)(*)(*)ers out there. *sarcasm if you can get that.

Sad dam would have been in power regardless of the US. Do you know history? Saddam was pretty much a gangster, like Castro. Two men that were going to get power and bash any heads that got in their way.

    He does not know history.

He wants to act like he some better insight to what is going on in the world. He wants people on the internet to believe his propaganda and lies, and I honestly don't know why.

He is not an American I honestly doubt he has ever stepped foot in the United States in his life. I'm pretty sure from the day he was born he was told to hate America, probably with the words "The Great Satan". His beliefs follow typical American hate with made up history or distort the facts to make him seem right or logical, he argues like a American politician. lol

EVERYONE that voted for King Obama, Fascist and Traitor, is a member of the Blame Only America Party.

    That needs to stop.

Except when Clinton was diddling Fat Interns. He completely ignored Rwanda.

Oh, come on, don't you remember the French Oil for Food program that made Hussein so much money, him and the Secretary General of the UN?

King Obama is such a REAL MAN, he even intervened on a piracy intervention to order the killing. Nero used to like doing that kind of thing. Now it's even better, King Obama has his own Xbox, with REAL DRONES!

There's one country who's borders the US ignores......

Most notably the income tax and payroll withholding. Without those crucial inventions, millions and millions of people on welfare would have to find jobs.

No. More people with college degrees. Can't call them educated when they're still stupid enough to vote DemocRAT.

That's ending. We've produced too many lawyers, not enough scientists.

Scientists know how to count votes, lawyers know how to find votes that flatly don't exist. Which do you think the DemocRATS want more of?

We never "conquered" large territory, we purchased, with gold, almost every square mile.

And we're the only superpower, period. Russia's not more than a turd-world country, and China has aircraft carriers that can't launch aircraft.

You're asking this question of the fascists who voted for King Obama?

Just like to point out it wasn't the Taliban that attacked america it was AQ. The beef with the Taliban is that they took over Afghanistan, offered Binnie sanctuary and refused to turn him over the americans who were in obvious scalp hunting mode. The taliban a primitive mountain culture wrapped up in a distorted and angry version of Islam.

Your absolutely correct that Israel cannot annex the west bank. They neither absorb the palestinians living there nor expell them without the most dire of consequences. However, a negotiated 2 state solution is a way out, and ultimately the only way out. I believe that Israel will be able to keep a small portion of the settlements close to the green line in exchange for Israel land elsewhere & the unfettered access by palestinians between the WB and Gaza. The notion that Israel "won the land fair and square" is actually the polar opposite of International Law as expressed by the Geneva Convention, which Israel is a signatory. But I leave it for the courts to figure out that legal dogpile.

    just sayin.

So then why don't these wonderful corporations stop outsourcing or downsizing every time they need a profit boost? Seems to me the "millions of employees helping to build our country" haven't much value in the corporate world these days. How much did Bush dump into Haliburton?

"We wouldn't even have a nation" if it weren't for corporations? Well, if that's true, and given our current dismal outlook, and corporations are what drives in all, I'd have to say that what the corporations have given us is the shaft.

Have faith Mr fraud. The democrats can't be in charge forever, things will improve one day. In the mean time, enjoy all the things corporations made you, dread having to deal with government even though they rarely talk to you, and worship your politicians, devising clever ways to send them more money from the corporations that produce all the things you like.

I never could find the problem with outsourcing. But lets take the one reason corporations outsource, shall we: Outsourcing is called 'free trade' in my book. Outsourcing also creates something called 'insourcing'--a term that you're obviously either not comfortable with or not familiar with. You scratch my back and I'll scratch your back in return. Its called doing business--another concept that liberals are either unfamiliar with or uncomfortable with.

What are you talking about? Millions of employees are perfectly happy and content working for corporations. Are you suggesting that corporation employees don't feel the 'value' of their position as much as a union worker might feel? Haliburton was one company that just happened to be deployed in many of our overseas military ventures. I realize you libs despise corporations (when they're not in bed with Obama), and you despise any and all things dealing with our military---but come on now, have a seat, relax and drink a cup of coffee.

When are you going to open your eyes? The current dismal outlook has everything to do with Obama and his bailouts, his porkulous, his buy outs, his fight against coal, oil, fracking, pipelines, private businesses, and capitalism in general. We're five years into the Obama depression and you're still blaming our national debt and (*)(*)(*)(*) poor economy on corporations? Wow, methinks an econ 101 class is in order for you my man.

Attacking civilians can not be justified as part of war. Civilian casualties are one thing. But they purposely attacked them. That is never justified.

When? Ww2? we were the nation that engaged in punishment strategy the least compare to the rest. We had largely a military industry bombing strategy. The Brits, Germans, Italians, Russians, Japanese all use punishment bombing as a main tactic once France fell, if not torture, death camps etc...the atom bomb saved lives. Numbers are what matter civilians or soldiers, both saved count.

Except Americans tend to try and claim a moral high ground over it. Such as with 9/11. We call them evil for attacking us, but it's completely ok for us to attack civilians.

Sneak attack, different. We tell the world we are coming, take shelter. Different. Besides, after Vietnam we largely if not totally abandoned punishment bombing. Other NATO allies have followed suit. We are not a perfect union, just citizens attempting to build one. More progress in 237 years then the previous 6000+ years of recorded humanity. A country that undergoes the Marshall plan and the Berlin airlift after all the trouble Europe and germany specifically has caused us is not an evil place. One that sends soldiers and contractors to build schools while under threat of fire is not evil by any means. If you want to see evil, look at what the world was like under our enemies. For whatever its faults America protected hundreds of millions from naziism, Maoism, Jung il ism, Japanese imperialism, European re-conquest of Latin America and Africa while liberating more countries from outside rule then any other in the history of mankind, despite such a short history. Nobody is perfect, but we sure are better then the those who came before us, and those that have tried since.
