In reference to our form of government and how authority is created kept in check you said

I responded our Constitution not only doesn't make us a tyranny of the majority as you were insinuating but certainly not totalitarian.

Obvious you can no longer debate the subject matter nor refute what I posted.

What a discombobulated bunch of mindless gibberish. In the above bolded Sentence - I am stating that someones preferences were drifting towards the Totalitarian end of the spectrum

What you respond with has nothing to do with the preferences being referred to.

Right out of the funny farm your post is.

On a topic about a top FBI lawyer deliberately forging a document, that's his best attempt at diversion? Sad!

Clinesmith’s case is nearly beyond belief:
    https://www.nationalreview.com/2020...stigation-will-kevin-clinesmith-plead-guilty/

His attorney, Shur, issued this statement to the media:

Kevin deeply regrets having altered the email. It was never his intent to mislead the court or his colleagues as he believed the information he relayed was accurate. But Kevin understands what he did was wrong and accepts responsibility.

That's not the level of guilt necessary for the Court to accept his guilty plea. That's not a "knowing and willful" admission of criminal guilt, that's an admission that due to a lack of diligence, he screwed up, but without criminal intent. He most certainly isn't admitting to a knowing and willful act of deception against the FBI and the FISA Court.

Clinesmith seems to think he can spin this as murky and save his license to practice law by admitting to a regrettable lapse in judgment, but denying that he intentionally defrauded the court.

This may not be a done deal.

Yep. And Clinesmith is just the beginnings of the story about how Obama's DOJ, FBI, and CIA spied on the trump campaign and made Nixon look like a saint.

Looks like Clinesmith was arraigned today and copped his plea, lol.
    Sentencing December 10. 0-6 months.

    He sang like a canary.

Is it strange how many Trump supporters also defend Nixon?

I don't know a single person that defends Nixon's behavior during Watergate. Not one.

You haven't been on the boards that I have been on then. But given the hate for Hillary (prosecuted Nixon) and ties to Cohn and Roger Stone, there seems to be a connection.

Clinton didn't prosecute Nixon....this dislike for her has to do with her horrible policies. Cohn? Stone was a Republican lobbyist and has been for decades....he has ties to lots of people....has nothing to do with Watergate

I have been on these boards for awhile and never once saw anyone defend Nixon for what happened during Watergate....I in fact think what he did was dumb...it was a landslide victory (one of the biggest ever) and he didn't even know about the break in til after the fact...should have let the boys go down

Hillary worked on the the House staff deciding on impeaching Nixon.

Cohn is Roy Cohn, the original fixer and personal advisor to Nixon.

And if you don't think that Roger Stone, one of Nixon's dirty tricksters, Young Republicans, and who sports a tattoo of Nixon isn't especially tied to Nixon, I don't know what to tell you.

    1) sure she didn't prosecute him. She was a Congressional staffer...Congress doesn't prosecute
    2) Cohn wasn't Nixon fixer or lawyer....he was a Republican and supported Repubican Presidents and even at times gave informal advice
    3) I never said he wasn't....nor do I understand how that proves your point that people are defending Nixon for Watergate

That all belongs in either the humor section or conspiracy section.... your call

Here's a perfect summary of this entire episode.... Durham did nothing except submit the paperwork from what Horowitz found 9 months ago...

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/op-ed-russia-hoax-probe-100047441.html

There is practically ZERO chance he gets more than 1 month, and even that would be a joke...

Meantime, Bannon bilked stupid contributors to an even more stupid cause out of > a million bucks.... that's a case you can sink your tooth into...

So Clinesmith's plea is a conspiracy, lol?

You guys are hilarious. Ruining another English word.

Facts are now "conspiracy theories" to leftists.

Clinesmith could have obviously been charged with falsifying evidence in front of a court. A completely different charge. He plead. Hopefully he got a lenient sentence because he's told Durham who instructed him to lie. (it was Trish).

I'll instantly regret this, but WTF are you talking about? If you had read the article, it's clear Durham said there's no conspiracy, unlike your claims...

Lone Wolf action.... Not an especially bright move, but he's not public enemy #1, #2, or even #8,761

Beahahha! Durham hasn't said anything. What are you talking about?

And I read the article. It's full of NOTHING but bald assertions. The author is either a clueless buffoon, or has chosen to ignore a mountain of other evidence.

It wasn't a serious question. And it wasn't a serious article.

I did. It was long on liberal opinion and almost devoid of fact.

It's hard to tell how that article supports any of the claims you made on a factual, logical basis.
