David Evans worked for the Aust Greenhouse office as a modeller and established the worlds best method of carbon accounting. He also started to realise CO2 is not the cause of dangerous global warming. Here he explains why

You know what i hate about the scientific ignorant is they just throw any old idea that may come along and try to pass it off as science .

despite whatever anyone else may think about it ,the planet venus has a real greenhouse problem ,And guess what gas is responsible for it ,go on all you "educated "types .And the point which is being made by the climate change scientists ,isn't that warming is good or bad ,its that we have to now take it into account as an Accelerating process ,is the sea level already rising ,that would be a yes and if you don't believe science on that then take a rule down and measure yourselves .

If we slow the human emissions if not stop them ,will that buy us more time to adapt ? that is a very big YES,is it necessary anyway to continue with 19th century internal combustion engined veichles ,NO ,is solar energy and electricty a way to Go ,YES cheap and low maintance.As well as nuclear ,tidal ,and wind .

Is Capitialism as system that leaves the very existance of Humanity to be decided in a MARKET,YES,is that an UNPLANNED WASTEFULL AND ANARCHIC process ,ABSOLUTLY !

Do we need markets?,no! or can Computerisation and PLANNING of economic processes ,SAVE WASTE ,REPLICATION and VESTED INTRESTS,that would be ABSOLUTELY!

IS Science smart enough to solve every problem ,WITH BELLS ON ,is Religion able to resolve anything ,STUPID QUESTION NO NEVER!

The Earth maybe heating up but we are still coming out of an iceage so to speak.

Venus has a 96% CO2 atmosphere but its water vapour that caused its ruaway green house effect and it was water vapour that was responsible for the change in atmosphere to the current levels of CO2.

Here on Earth there is no empirical evidence that CO2 causes a runaway greenhouse effect or that there is enough CO2 in our atmosphere to cause major climate change, if that was the case then millions of years ago when our CO2 levels were at 7000ppm compared with todays 390ppm ww would have already has this catatrophe.



The only evidence we have that CO2 is causing all this mayhem is the Global Circulation Models (GCM) be it the IPCC's or others, and as we have seen they can't predict the weather in the next decade let alone next century.

Also we have satelite temperature readings that donot show heating in the tropopause as the GCM's are showing.

You see the GCM's take the earth's atmosphere and put it in a test tube, and when you do that its garbage in garbage out.

I'm still for cleaning up our atmosphere and manmade pollution but not in the way the Gillard/Green government wants us to do it, because it will only increase pollution and we will be enlsaved with financial slavery sending out billions of dollars to over seas institutions based on a lie that has now become the biggest scam in human history.

 

Prior to the last ice age dinosaurs roamed the planet. I'm sure we all understand that cows are large produces of CO2. Anyway, what I'm getting to is that there would have been a tonne of CO2 thundering out of the rear orifice of just one of these beasts. Imagine the output from a million or so of these giants. Most likely enough to bring on the ice age and cause their own extinction.

 

The rear orifice emits a real greenhouse gas called methane, not CO2.
