Like the Russian Dossier, based on Kremlin connected disinformation on Trump purchased by the Hillary Clinton Campaign and the DNC?
Gee, if this was so illegal, why no charges? And if that is so illegal, how illegal is Hillary and the DNC buying Russian dirt on Trump?
But Comey writing a report exonerating Hillary before he even interviewed her, is not?

Sessions is recused from any thing related to the campaigns. Anything. Related. Mueller is charged with investigating anything related to the campaigns and any Russian connections to the Trump campaign. Anything. Related.

If you've ever heard of the game, "Six degrees of Kevin Bacon," you'll know it doesn't take much to make connections… especially when you can use anything related. Mueller has BROAD authority to investigate anything related to Russian interference and connections with the Trump campaign. Guess what? He's finding lots of anythings that are related.

Once you wrap your head around those words, you'll see why Mueller is going to places you didn't expect, but that doesn't mean he's overstepped his authority. You don't have to like it. You don't even have to accept it. That won't change a thing though. He has lots of elbow room to follow the evidence.

Nah, like the Trump Tower meeting and the emails that prove it happened, despite multiple public lies that it didn't happen.

Patience, grasshopper. Charges come when Mueller is ready for them to be made public.

If you are so sure Hillary and the DNC bought Russian dirt on Trump, where is the evidence? I'm fairly sure the dossier was contracted through an American owned company in America. I'm also fairly sure the Clinton campaign never used the dossier. Do you have any evidence the Clinton campaign used information in the dossier against Trump? Maybe you have evidence the FBI used the dossier, in part, to get a FISA warrant on Carter Page, but then Carter Page was actually talking to Russians about the Trump campaign and an illegal trillion dollar oil deal…. because Russia is under sanctions.

I don't know how you can claim Comey wrote a letter to exonerate Hillary Clinton, when he wrote another in October, that polling data shows significantly negatively impacted her election chances. It is illogical to believe that the FBI conspired to hurt the Trump campaign and help the Clinton campaign, when the actual results are just the opposite.

You might want to read the article.

Carter defends trump on North Korea. The article isn’t just about Mueller. Why y’all have taken the headline, with a separating comma as him defending him over Mueller... then maybe it’s you who needs to learn how to read.

He also said he was doing good job on North Korea and thinks he’s doing he right thing. That’s the defending part they are talking about. You do see the comma in the title, don’t you?

Yeah, and then Carter said on Steven Colbert he thought Americans like having a jerk as President. My point in this thread remains- Carter likes diplomacy and is a very big dove. If word is that Trump wants to talk and not go to war, Carter is good with that. That doesn't mean he was defending Trump. He wasn't.

He was on North Korea in the article. People see what they want they want to see. And it’s mostly people not seeing the comma at all.

Not illogical at all. Comey helped clinton out, when he gave that little speech. But he was bound to tell congress if anything changed in regards to clinton, new info, which the discovered emails on Weiner's computer provided. Remember? I do. And so Comey had to cover his own arse with congress, after letting clinton off the hook. He was walking a fine line, IMO.

Did his later revelations hurt clinton? I doubt it, for her supporters did not give a rat's arse what she had done. That was self evident. What did hurt clinton was not russia, but what wilkileaks revealed about her and the DNC. This hurt her with sanders supporters who may have turned out in larger numbers in key states, if not for the corruption of the democrats and DNC, along with MSM, and it probably hurt her with some independents. So the TRUTH hurt clinton. But not with his supporters. They did not care what she was, or what the DNC was, they just wanted to elect the first woman. Yes, rather superficial, and not very serious, concerned people, but it is what it is.

And that's why I said there has to be some hate for Trump involved. That or people read what they want to read into it.

The FBI confirmed that Comey drafted his report on the Clinton email investigation long before even completing interviews.

The existence of the documents, reported by Newsweek, were first brought to light by Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., also a member of the committee, after they reviewed transcripts of interviews with top Comey aides who alluded to the email’s existence. The Senate Judiciary Committee is investigating Comey in his role as FBI director and President Trump’s decision to fire him in May.

The senators penned a letter on Aug. 30 to newly-appointed FBI Director Christopher Wray noting their findings, saying that “it appears that in April or early May of 2016, Mr. Comey had already decided he would issue a statement exonerating Secretary Clinton. That was long before FBI agents finished their work,” the letter said. “The outcome of an investigation should not be prejudged while FBI agents are still hard at work trying to gather the facts.”

Gee, then why to defend his pursuit of Manafort in areas unrelated to the Sessions recusal, did they file a document dated months after he started investigating and a week after the infamous pre-dawn raid?

Muellers appointment is unconstitutional because it does not fit the SC statute and because Mueller is personally in multiple conflicts of interest. And this silly attempt at back-filling with a late dated heavily redacted secret order, what the hell is that? Post-facto Rosenstein's blessing of Grand Inquisitor Robert Mueller's “super-secret special permission to expand his special counsel investigation into Paul Manafort’s business dealings” back in August?

These clowns are corrupt and sloppy. Congress is ready to haul their asses into Court to get the documents they refuse to turn over. All this secret crap is really a gross abuse of due process. If you’re going to charge somebody criminally there are procedures for doing so. One of the fundamental pieces is the Brady material. If you’re going to charge somebody and prosecute them criminally, you’ve got to put all of the cards on the table. You have to explain what it is they’re being charged with and how and why.

These bastards are clearly comfortable and in the habit of ignoring the rule of law and winging it with lies, obstruction, after the fact "authorizations". Thank goodness Trump's election threw a wrench in this. Had Hillary been elected, we would know of none of this.

Rosenstein and Mueller are lawless nature and sloppy. They both know that Mueller deeply conflicted. He’s best buddies with Comey. He had Lisa Monaco, his former chief of staff, sitting in the Obama White House, coordinating with the whole McCabe-Strzok-Page nonsense.

They had the former number four guy at Justice, Bruce Ohr, acting as the personal intermediary, funneling stuff from Christopher Steele’s dossier into the Justice Department and over to Mueller. How much more conflicted can it be? Since the Ohr's are silent and Bruce remains on payroll, he is one of the 4 guys or so I suspect of cooperating with Session's outside Prosecutor to get to the bottom of all this corruption.

While there remains a very tiny possibility than none of the 3 will occur, one thing is CERTAIN:

The Possibility of Trump being Impeached is exponentially MORE LIKELY than either of the other 2 events (which exist only among delusional RW Tinfoil Hats).

I've written reports before they were due, and then updated them as things changed. I don't see the big deal of writing a report ahead of time. It's not like he didn't know almost all of the evidence before her interview. If she said something in the interview that would cause a change in the report, I assume he edited and updated the report to include the new information. Now, if there is proof that the final version of his report was unchanged in every way from the original version, you might have a point. Do you have that proof? It seems to me that the final report was actually written by several FBI agents, modifying, updating, and editing Comey's original. I don't have one problem with the report being edited and honed in a group effort. If you do, that's your prerogative.

Since it's been 2 years since Comey started that original draft, and nothing has happened through Congress or the FBI about it, it seems what was done was legal and acceptable. That being said, you can still be mad about it, if you want to be mad. It's just not going to change anything.

So, which Congressman or attorney has filed charges against the blatant misuse of tax payer money, in naming this lawless, sloppy, special counsel, with Democratic acquaintances, for overstepping boundaries? Anybody? Bueller? Mueller? (I know, lame Ferris Bueller joke.)

None. Not one has done that. So maybe Mueller's appointment is legal and his investigation proceeds… getting to the bottom of the actual corruption, and not the pretend corruption used to distract.

Illegally misleading FISC so you can spy on a rival campaign is "pretend corruption"?
