    How will Biden hurt those things? In 2024 inflation will be an unpleasant memory and all the Republicans will have to run on is all the benefits they have tried to cancel and all the harmless people they have tried to hurt

    Without hate, Donald Trump would have never won in 2016. It was a collective dislike of Clinton that put him in the White House. And lets not pretend that the same mechanic would not be at play in 2024 on the right. People will hold their nose and vote for Trump, even if they don't think he should be president again, because they can't stand the left. There's some right-wingers right here on this site who've said as much. Two sides of the same coin really.

    Saying Biden saved Democracy is a huge stretch. In fact, it needs reversed. Democracy saved Biden because his opponent attempted to subvert the Democratic process to keep himself installed in the White House despite losing the election. Where it not for Democracy and enough folks believing in it, Trump would have been successful in persuading folks to ignore the election results and make him president again. That's how despots take and hold power in those foreign countries we read about in the news and are glad we don't live in.

    No doubt, when America's economy is struggling you can bet Europe and the rest of the world is struggling because we are the world's largest producer and consumers. Don't take offense, it's just a numbers thing.

    There are rumors he will announce today, although that is unlikely since it's at a complete MAGA RW event and it might take days for anybody to hear about it... but like his bladder, I suspect he has little control over what comes out when...

    I hope Joe has the National Guard standing back and standing by at the Capitol today.... The GQP seems to have a thing for that building...
