As to children, same sex marriages do not reduce the amount of heterosexual unions and also increase the amount of other family unions that have been shown to improve the lives of those children.

So if it is only the children you are concerned with your fears are either misplaced or you are saying you don’t care about children that are not under a nuclear biological heterosexual relationship.
