Well they are being described as very cooperative witnesses. Their only crime would be giving false information to the police. As long as they are telling the truth there is no other crime since there was no assault. Smollett is the one in trouble for making the false report and then giving false information and possibly mail fraud. The reports I heard last night said they were taken into custody as they did return from Africa, not the turn the plane around story.

 

So Pelosi quietly deleted her tweet. No apology, no statement I was wrong to jump the gun and impunge whites and MAGA supporters and to believe this racist jerk.

 

This is a critical thing that seems to be lost amongst progressives. This incident, and the Covington incident were both fabricated b.s. aimed at white male Trump supporters. They're fine with that. Bottom line is this:

As long as Trump Supporters don't continuously try to stir the pot with conspiratorial Anti-"Leftist" Hate on RW Trash Blogs and online forums--Then the next time, people will be less likely to blame them.

BUT, as long as the RW Continues to spew (on places like Twitter and online forums, etc.) Ludicrous Pro-Trump RW BS from places like Breitbart and other assorted Tinfoil Hat RW Trash Blogs--Then the Pro-Trump RW BS Factory will continue to be unsympathetic characters when things like this happen again.

So y'know, MrTLegal admitted he was wrong and apologized. Egoboy admitted he was wrong and apologized. AJ admitted he was wrong. And no one who was arguing against them gloated, in fact quite the opposite. Everyone accepted, and in some cases newfound respect was forged. I myself - well, I always HAD respect for Ego but it's grown more since his admission. My admiration for Legal has assuredly grown, and I'd like to think it's mutual. I've even tried playing nice with AJ, although I'm not sure how he's taking it or if he's even noticed. It's enough that I know he is man enough to admit when he's wrong.
