    I recall seeing the early experiments with these cell matrices. They were using mice and were able to grow entire hearts and lungs.

    This will be transformative and hopefully it will happen sooner rather than later.

    Repairing nerve damage is one of the toughest of all regenerative obstacles to overcome. Stem cells are an essential factor and hopefully the they will be able to figure out how to apply the extracellular matrix, or something similar, to make this work. My spouse has nerve damage from the chemo and that may never recover so this kind of research is key to finding cures for people like her.
