https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/co...ner-tears-pelosi-portrait-unveiling-rcna61805 Former Speaker Boehner tears up at the unveiling of Madame Speaker's portrait. It is the first one of a female speaker. I am not a celebrity hound at all but she is one of the very, very public figures I feel honored to have represent us. She was our Acting President on January 6, 2021 and courageously stood her ground to get help and didn't hesitate to warn then VP Pence, thereby saving his life. Even in the face of unmitigated hatred and cruelty during a family tragedy, she showed the world the same amazing qualities: Intelligence, courage, strength, diplomacy, decency, fairness, poise, the list is endless. I love this portrait of her. Very well done.
Well this provided me with 15 minutes of fun. I just hope no one has flashbacks about her tearing up the SOTU speech and retaliates by doing the same with her portrait.
Was that the SOTU where the Orange-stained Excuse for POTUS attempted a semblance of coherent verbiage? Agree the tearing up was pointless. That was good toilet paper.
thanks for the laughs she wished.....and some of you can't even figure out why she had a film crew there that day
We can do a Best Of Pelosi and have a lot of posts with everyone's favorite line. Remember when she was trying to get Brown Turd's Obamacare passed and cited Jonathan Gruber as an economic expert who said we can insure 45 million people without costs going up? Then when Gruber said the Turd counted on the stupidity of the American voters to support it Pelosi said she had no idea who the guy was.
