I would agree....the military initiative has been a total disaster....after about Day 3?....of the " special operation"?

Since then it's been terrorizing civilians.

why do you have to assume that? if there's anything facebook has proved in the last 7 years or so it's not that it's benevolent
one can be concerned about two things. a social media platform sanctioning hate speech is a pretty serious problem

Let me know if you find an instance of such hate speech being allowed on Facebook.

They are attempting to isolate the number one energy producer. There is no doubt this decision will have disastrous consequences around the world; poorer countries are going to feel a little more than a "sting". And our government also just ensured that 170M Russians end up with someone worse than Putin when he dies in a couple of years.

I don't know why @Durandal phrased that in that way but he usually is more careful with his wording.

For some reason I don't understand, some posters accuse others of starting threads as a way to *distract* from Biden's screw-ups. I'm not aware of some kind of infiltration by a large group of people with ADD so I have never understood that characterization. I think most adults are able to think about more than one issue at a time. That's kinda what being an adult is...all day, every day, getting hit from a million directions without losing our sh!t on people.

With that said, I have no biases toward or against <whatever site> but it does strike me as odd that hate speech for/against Russia or the Ukraine is allowable while banning former President Trump for using his social media following as a way to orchestrate the Capitol riot is kinda a jerk move. I absolutely agree that Trump is dangerous with a phone and social media accounts but the rules should apply to everybody equally. Either hate speech is not cool (and it shouldn't be) or it is but no double-standards. The rules are the rules. Full stop. But I don't own FaceBook so...I guess it's whatever the Z wants before he gets criminal charges for being a bad boy pre-election.

    I think it's around 140 mln Russians ...not 170.

When Putin dies in couple years?.....is that fact or wishful thinking?

"Someone worse than Putin".....time will tell?

Love it how american fascists in their anti racism quest are backing the neo nazi ukraine battalions that were previously banned on jewish social media app meta, suckerbergs platform, but now that nato is arming them its one big love in.

Which seems to violate the 14th amendment rights of American Citizens.

But, as for Putin: DOES THIS MAKE THEM LEGITIMATE MILITARY TARGETS FOR PUTIN?

“This week, Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta Platforms — the parent company of Facebook and Instagram — decided that people could temporarily use those platforms to call for the deaths of other people.” “”Not anyone or anywhere, to be clear: Users are only allowed to call for the killing of Russian soldiers, Russian president Vladimir Putin, and his Belarusian counterpart, Aleksander Lukashenko, and only in specific ways related to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.”

And it gets even more insane after that.

There are some obvious double standards. An example of how rules are just selectively enforced to be able to go after people they don't like.

These people are so inherently biased they themselves probably don't even see it. (Remember, they act on feelings, not logic)

Rights? Who needs rights when you have Meta etc. to make your decisions for you? LOL

Yeh, Putin might just off Zuck. Wouldn’t put it past him. Seems like fair game…

What was that poem about “first they came for the Gypsies” or something like that? Today it’s Putin. No reason it can’t be you tomorrow. It’s a crazy world!

This is the problem with censorship "Who gets to decide" -- and one is engaging in pure manipulation in this case .. unable to even maintain consistently the censorship policy that it has.

RT has been taken offline -- OK .. but then where does one go to get "The other side" of the story. .. and there are always 2 sides to the story - especially in war .. Truth being the first casualty .. on both sides.. and in this case .. USA media lying their faces of. - false narrative central.
