    You'll know it's bipartisan from the number of House Republicans who support it.

    You'll know McConnell won't give it the time of day if it's just another piece of crackpot "progressive" legislation that only Democrats will support.

    Here's another thing, ron - Pelosi knows this. Her and her fellow Dims on the Hill can play stupid but everyone knows better...

    I never said he couldn't win. Any other non sequiturs? Yes, he has quite the cult following despite the fact that he can't make it more than a couple of hours without lying, and that same cult will sing praises about how he says what he means and doesn't lie like a politician, completely oblivious.

    Please show the actual memo showing that these workers were forced to attend or not get paid pay.

    From my understanding is that the no shows would get normal pay and the attendees would get normal pay plus overtime.

    He knows how to press anyone's button. His talent for doing that might not seem fair to his opponents but it seems to work for him. I bet that guy Palmer's face was blood red on election night. I wonder if he's still writing and making predictions?

    Cult following? I think old Bernie holds that title. Don't ask me why. Trump is an equal opportunist loved and hated in near equal numbers.

    Thank you for confirming my point.

    The memo never said they weren't going to get paid for that day. It says if they don't show up they would not get OVERTIME pay.

    That means the non-attendees who didn't show up will still get normal pay for that day.

    So, your post and the original article are very misleading.

    Now why would you and the article do that?

    yes it did, if they did not show up, they would not get paid, NO SCAN, NO PAY

    and no overtime on Friday unless they attend

    Seems to me that police and fire departments should assist any person who isn't breaking the law...

    for free.

    Since when are fireys asking for a cheque after putting your fire out?

    Seems that the left should be outraged about this more than conservatives. Equal access and all that. The post office reaches people living in the most inconvenient and unnecessary of places, why shouldn't the fire department do their job when people lawfully assemble?
