Just as I thought. Your evidence is your opinion which it seems will remain without merit. At least we live in a nation where you can say such things, even if they are for the most part untrue. That said any instrument, institution, or tradition created by man is not faultless. That is because man himself despite his most noble intentions will always fall short of a pure moral standard. The latter (a correct moral standard) does not change over time because it was created by an entity which is atemporal by default.

Thus my friend, its easy but unfair to criticize or judge anything in the past with contemporary nuances, ethics and morals! Especially when one has the luxury of a 200 year perspective to wield said judgment. In a perfect morally correct world what is moral and true today would be the same a million years in the future. However even a simpleton knows our world is far from perfect. I have no doubt that 200 years from now many of our highly held moral and ethical ideals, institutions, traditions will be considered immoral and maybe barbaric etc. I am sure your opinion of the men that founded our nation was formed by today's ideas of right and wrong. reva

Conceiving the idea and actually inventing it and making it work are two different things. For instance I conceived the idea of a VCR when I was a kid, but nobody is giving me credit for inventing it. So in Esau's world, does conceiving the mother ship make it real, even if it is a figment of your imagination? BTW still no response to the periodic table, electron microscope or submarine?
