Also, what laws were broken? The article you gave didn't make it clear or state them. Or is this just a nothing burger?

This is about the emails found on Weiners laptop sent by Huma, you know, the one where Comey came out a second time and said no charges?

Comeys first press conference occurred in July. These emails were found on Weiners laptop no later than September. Then in October, Comey has the second press conference where he said new things came to light.

Do you not remember already?

The text about Obama wanting to be updated occurred on, again according to the OP, September 2nd. So... what you're saying doesn't jive with the facts.

Specially, the FBI became aware of those emails September 28th, these texts are from early September.

he doesn't specify what type of investigations so it implies to all investigations

My first lines in this thread directly addressed the subject matter. This is nothing. Obama wanting updates is not the end of the world.

That they did. One text(the one about Obama) is from early September. The article doesn’t indicate what he was getting an update on.

And the text about the emails on Weiners laptop is from sep 28. In October, Comey gives his second press conference on the “matter”.

 

Maybe. Maybe not. The article doesn’t say, apparently the texts don’t say it either. Any reason for the update is pure speculation.

 

The timeline just does not make any sense to claim that Obama wanted an update on the Weiner discovered emails in early September when the emails were discovered almost 4 weeks later.

 

You’re jumping to conclusions. The article doesn’t say anything like that.

Upon further reading I can see why one could think that. He wants to know everything we are doing. It’s not specific enough and is left open to interpretation.
