    But the first amendment says freedom of peaceful assembly and religion. The fourth amendment says no warrantless search or siezure. You can't oppose those on the grounds of the tenth amendment and still say you're favoring smaller government. The tea party isn't in favor of smaller government, just less federal oversight on state governments, which they want to increase. By your own argument. Isn't that so?

    Has anyone explained to the tea partiers that they're fighting for their right to be abused by the local authorities?
