Would it be American, British, or both?

A question that comes to mind is , if she was suicidal.(implying desperate and depressed).............. and given all her connections and privilege via this marriage.......how come she did not seek help form a psychiatrist?? She could have handled it privately. & discreetly......if that was necessary........... Both William and Kate are well known for their mental health work............ so she could have sought assistance that way too

The good news is that the media is sort of slowing down on this all this. Unless she fuels it with more oxygen

Did she say she didn't seek psychiatric help?

So much so that she is accused of just being a race-grifter. That's my impression of her and anyone else who is living a life of wealth and privilege and still complaining about being "oppressed". I wonder if Harry will be able to have his cojones returned to him in the divorce?

Most of the members of the Royal Family are born in England. Research should made of it any of in-laws and out-laws came from England or elsewhere.

No she didn't say that. She did say, however, that she spoke to human resources at the palace and was given no help.

Don't they have a private GP that she could have consulted , and who could have referred her to a mental health professional.?? (if she did not get the help she wanted from the Palace. She seems rather resourceful. & quite determined.by nature. (those are character strengths)

Not sure going to the palace with health problems - mental or otherwise is the smartest option. Unless they have psychologists and psychiatrists on staff. And other specialists for that matter. )

The child's name is actually "Archie" on the birth certificate. (No, that's not just the cutesy nickname)

For a member of the royal family, this is a trashy thing to do.
I'm not saying this is the reason the rest of the royal family rejected them, but it is more fuel on the fire.

The name says something about the mother who named the baby.

    Not this again.
Harry named the baby after his former commanding officer Tom Archer-Burton. Known to his troops as Archie. The man who fought for Harry to be allowed to travel with his unit to Afghanistan for active service and a close friend of Harry's.
Not that it's any business of yours what anybody chooses to name their baby.

Then why didn't he name the baby Archer?
Even that would have been better.
They could still refer to the baby as "Archie" informally.

Sorry, if you want to be a member of the royal family it is other people's business what you name your baby.

Let's hope they consult with all the judgemental posters on PF.com first next time so we don't have to go through this fiasco again.
What were they thinking? Choosing the name of their son without considering how outraged so many people would be at their decision.
I, personally, hope they call her Hillary Michelle just so I can be entertained by all the heads exploding.

I just don't think this woman is royal family material.

Even Harry doesn't really seem the brightest and seems kind of immature (although that's not altogether surprising with his mother prematurely dying).

This woman probably just has a princess fantasy.

Well, that is meaningful to them..Harry. That is what counts. Did they make that known to the public?? It might have saved them a lot of jokes.

Technically, you are right...it is none of our business.........but people int he public eye........ carry the curiosity factor. Human nature.

They announced their support for three causes/ charities. Mental health being one of them. Don't know the specifics.

One can hope that their tell all IV was cathartic for them.

    No it isn't.
What makes you think anyone but the parents have any say in what name they choose for their child?

Not just technically. It's entirely up to them what to name their child.
Anyone would think they'd named him Adolf from all the fuss people have made over this.

LOL.......In the final analysis......it matters very little. It is their choice......... The reality is that the public has plenty of opinions........when it comes to celebs and royals Because they are in the limelight........ they are fair game. So how they ;handle things does matter. Actions/ words create reactions. Human chemistry. on a larger scale.

The Palace structure...ie Firm......is old and traditional. It is an establishments that changes slowly It has a history of all kinds of scandals. ........and they survived. That does not mean that a commoner in a royal position should demonstrate disrespect to them. .....with public accusation;s. NO one....renegades if one is royal l or not....... takes to TV to offend their in laws. Concerns should be addressed privately and with discretion....

IF they want to do an interview.....fine....... do it with the subject matter being what their causes are. and let people know what they have achieved via these causes. ( a progress report so to speak)

Every Tom, Dick and Harry thinking they have a say in how they live their lives was no doubt one of the reasons they decided to withdraw from royal duties.
Apparently some people still think they should have a say in how they live their lives even after they give up their positions in the Royal Household.
Seems they can't win whatever they do.
It's enough to give a person mental health issues...

Not a thing. Maybe now they can settle down and do whatever it is they choose to do.

You mean while that woman runs through his money?

The $14 million mansion she made Harry buy cost 35 percent of all the money Harry had. And that's not even going to include the property taxes and maintenance costs.
This isn't money he can just replenish.
