The recent report on the tranz gender guy who won w female athletics event would not happen if the female athletes refused to take part. Why do they take part in such races with a tranz guy built like a brick sh*thouse??
the question for society is to ask, do we support gender discrimination.... it's a tough one, we want to believe we are all equal, are we? sports is one of the areas where society has always supported gender discrimination, normally this was supported by both genders this definitely is going to be a tough one as it goes against the equality we feel all Americans deserve, but also many see a problem with it as well as many feel women are not as good as men in some sports and it's not fair glad I am not the one that has to come up with the answers....
Transgender women performing in women’s sporting events poses a difficult conundrum of course. I support transgender rights, but I can see where this creates an issue that is difficult to found an easy answer to. However, to your point, I don’t believe female athletes are at a guaranteed disadvantage. During my time in the army I knew female soldiers capable of maxing the male standards for the PT test. Wasn’t common, but they’re capable.
there are only two genders, everything else is a psychological issue and we shouldn't coddle their fantasies
really comes down to the hormones, yes some women's hormones make them more masculine and some men's make them more feminine and visa versa but the real question is should gender discrimination be allowed in sports, when females wanted to play on the men's football or wrestling teams, some men did not like it as many men do not like the thought of being rough with women in such a sport, just the way they were raised... it's one of those issues that one hopes never comes up, but now it has and now someone has to decide what to do interesting documentary "Through the Wormhole S07E03 Are There More Than Two Sexes"
the mess was made because laws were passed, nothing more... rescind those laws and allow the sports to make their own rules and if trannies & the gender confused wish to play, they are free to form their own leagues in every type sport or join a league of their 'born' genital type... this isn't a civil rights issue in these cases, although the leftie loons twisted it into one...
yes, gender and racial discrimination laws have been passed, but we do not just want to throw them out - what if some white men said whites and blacks should not have to compete, should be separate teams, ect....
re-read my post... i said in this case, as in sports... for most (excluding bathrooms) other things it is a civil rights issue & we shouldn't discriminate against them
It is absolutely, unequivocally unacceptable for a MAN to be allowed to compete in a female athletic event. Its time this ridiculous situation was sorted out. If I was a female athlete and a big MAN was on the starting line with me I would refuse to take part. In refusing it would in no way mean I am anti-trans or whatever someone wants to be or do in their private life.
These women, none of whom are trans to my knowledge, could beat the piss out of any man who would dare compete with them on most anything. Many strongmen say that having a woman be the world record holder in lifting is only a matter of time.
Just think this all started fifty odd years ago when girls used to ask, “why can’t I play with the boys?”
No color of skin is a genetic thing. I'm surprised you call them "coloreds".....you know they don't like that. Transgender is a abnormality. To have male muscle tone and build but think you want to be a women, should not put women at a disadvantage.
I’ll assume you just failed to read sarcasm from text, understandable, and not intentionally ignored it. That would be dishonest. To the rest of your point, trans women are an extreme minority, let alone trans women that are athletically inclined. There isn’t enough data yet to decide on how to best handle the issue presented by the topic creator, but a complete and total ban or separated events isn’t the answer.
You have got to be kidding, or don't understand sports. Reread what you just wrote. - Can beat any male in almost anything? - Do you think the women you refer to could beat "any male" in the tennis U.S. Open? In the Tour de France? MLB? NFL? Soccer? NBA? Track and field? Cricket? Ironman? PGA? Heck, bowling or bull riding? Ski jump? Slalom? Swimming? Supercross? Chess? Seriously? How about naming ONE thing they can beat any male at?
what say you for those that had 'the procedure' to remove their penis & made an artificial vagina, should they disclose that fact to their partner or their date.
I don’t know that the dating practices of transgendered individuals is the topic of discussion, but I’m happy to answer your question all the same. I believe in honesty in relationships. If someone suspects a date would turn into a sexual encounter they should make them aware of something that would be considered outside the norm. Both parties should be aware of what to expect from sex, but that also extends far beyond the state/history of someone’s genitals.
thanks for your honesty, iow, you agree that they are actually men and shouldn't deceive a potential mate/lover, yet you think it's ok for them to compete in 'women only' sports.... explain that please
You’re putting words in my mouth. I don’t appreciate that. Feeling a trans woman should notify a sexual partner about a sex change does not preclude accepting them as a woman.
It should be a competition about moving things from one place to another. They could call it Trans-portation.
