3 punishment and the pencil cradle. For those that may not know the pencil cradle, a pencil is woven between the fingers and a few books dropped on your hand...not enough to break it but very painful. Doubt me? Try it on yourself. Want to control a perp, it can be done quickly once you see how to press to spread the fingers, slide abpencil or pen in an squeeze the fingers and watch the compliance...simple, but effective and once in place works with one hand.
