Here we go again. The New York Times has to try and ruin America's birthday party with their take on the American flag. They pulled the same nonsense last month. As Julio covered, last month NYT editorial board member Mara Gay bemoaned to MSNBC's "Morning Joe," that she found it "disturbing" to see so many American and pro-Trump flags when visiting Long Island. After she got called out, as she totally deserved, the paper claimed "the attacks on her... are ill-informed and grounded in bad-faith." This latest ridiculousness comes in the form of July 3's "A Fourth of July Symbol of Unity That May No Longer Unite," by Staff Reporter Sarah Maslin Nir. "Politicians of both parties have long sought to wrap themselves in the flag. But something may be changing: Today, flying the flag from the back of a pickup truck or over a lawn is increasingly seen as a clue, albeit an imperfect one, to a person’s political affiliation in a deeply divided nation," she writes, in reference to the title. https://townhall.com/tipsheet/rebec...urfaces-just-in-time-for-4th-of-july-n2592010 This is just ridiculous. Yet another of the massive progressive left assault on Independence Day and 4th of July celebrations over the weekend. They are literally conceding all of our exceptional nations history, culture, traditions, symbols, founders, founding documents to the political right.

The flag is my flag and I’ll fly it Mark Dubowitz @mdubowitz I proudly fly the American flag over my lawn and it provides no clues to my political affiliation — only to my love of country. Grateful immigrant. God bless America. . Obviously this insanity wouldn't end with the banning of the Confederate flag. My Confederate forefathers already experienced what modern White Americans are experiencing now. Back then it was radical Republicans who wanted to totally destroy Southern Whites. But at least my Southern White forefathers fought back. And in spite of losing the war, losing their homeland and suffering many years under draconian enemy military rule... they managed to survive. .
. Btw... it's not just the liberal media... FOX news has literally gone over to the CRT dark side. Earlier today two FOX news hosts quoted anti-White black activists demonizing America's White founding fathers and specifically demonizing the Declaration of Independence. Then both FOX news hosts said there is a "stain" on our White founding fathers and the US flag. Between the two FOX news hosts... they said the word, "stain", three times in a less than two minute dialogue! Here is an old civil war era poem about the conquered Confederate flag. THE CONQUERED BANNER Furl that Banner, for 'tis weary; Round its staff 'tis drooping dreary; Furl it, fold it, it is best; For there's not a man to wave it, And there's not a sword to save it, And there's no one left to lave it In the blood that heroes gave it; And its foes now scorn and brave it; Furl it, hide it--let it rest! Take that banner down! 'tis tattered; Broken is its shaft and shattered; And the valiant hosts are scattered Over whom it floated high. Oh! 'tis hard for us to fold it; Hard to think there's none to hold it; Hard that those who once unrolled it Now must furl it with a sigh. Furl that banner! furl it sadly! Once ten thousands hailed it gladly. And ten thousands wildly, madly, Swore it should forever wave; Swore that foeman's sword should never Hearts like theirs entwined dissever, Till that flag should float forever O'er their freedom or their grave! Furl it! for the hands that grasped it, And the hearts that fondly clasped it, Cold and dead are lying low; And that Banner--it is trailing! While around it sounds the wailing Of its people in their woe. For, though conquered, they adore it! Love the cold, dead hands that bore it! Weep for those who fell before it! Pardon those who trailed and tore it! But, oh! wildly they deplored it! Now who furl and fold it so. Furl that Banner! True, 'tis gory, Yet 'tis wreathed around with glory, And 'twill live in song and story, Though its folds are in the dust; For its fame on brightest pages, Penned by poets and by sages, Shall go sounding down the ages-- Furl its folds though now we must. Furl that banner, softly, slowly! Treat it gently--it is holy-- For it droops above the dead. Touch it not--unfold it never, Let it droop there, furled forever, For its people's hopes are fled! .
