You should be catching on, because the numbers simply do not add up to 1.8 million. Its closer to 50 000. The number is obviously not compiled. You should have looked around a bit, like the active cases per 1M and the number breakdowns, which are nowhere near 1.8. And you want people to scream about it???

Fortunately people in FL are now seeking vaccines seeing how serious the problem is.

 

Florida is 26th in deaths per capita. Maybe Biden should stop pumping illegals into Florida.

 

The numbers speak for themselves. I can't help it if you don't know how to read the data. The 1.8 million current cases are not per capita. They are current total active cases per state which are duplicated by the CDC. World meters info is live and is updated 24 hours a day. Their info comes from state reports, CDC, and other sights tracking Covid information. They are not affiliated with any political groups. They just report live data. Which is why you will see it change hour by hour.

I realize it doesn't fit your theories but that doesn't mean that the thousands upon thousands crunching data every hour are all wrong and only you can be right.

I mean how could any reasonable person conclude there are only 50,000 active cases in a state with 39 million people. Is this a magic state?

Florida : 16000 cases per day

And California has double the population of Florida and many more illegals!

 

I asked you to look at active case per 1M, and I also asked you to look at the total active cases breakdown, which don't come anywhere near 1.8M

I didn't say that either. I said the numbers do not seem complete, because the breakdown which should total 1.8 million is closer to 50 000, and yet the cases per million is about 100K. Its not adding up. Maybe they are missing some numbers.

How about you rave about California, while I worry about the State I live in? Deal?

While Florida has 308,000 active cases with 21 million pop.

California has twice the population but 6 times more current active cases.

 

There is a total cases per million pop charted. For California its 100,359. Total cases since the first infection of which California has had 3.9 million TOTAL cases with 2.1 million recovered. HENCE, they Currently they have 1.8 million ACTIVE cases.

You seem to prefer to take a moment in time and try and make it the average when its not.

How about you learn what the data states and nobody would have to come on here and correct you.

 

Because active cases are not verified or checked. People are not tested repeatedly during their illness to see when they become no longer an active case

California clocked 3,707 new cases (10K on Friday). Florida last reported number was 21 000+ with positivity rate of over 18% (vs 6.2% in CA). Yea......lets pretend California is worse off.

Now FL hospitals are filling up, and deaths will follow.

As we know Florida is not releasing daily numbers, and it seems the weekly report does not include the "active cases". They also subtract all non-permanent residents from all numbers. Not sure how active cases are reported by other States, because it doesn't add up that CA would have 50% of their total cases from past 18 months still "active".

As per Worldometers, the active / recoveries is actually something that is hightly imperfect. No wonder it didnt add up.

FL has active cases at 1.4% of their population.

FL's record is better than the US record of 1.6% of Americans actively infected.

Active cases don't last that long. Most are under a week. But its funny how you will claim its impossible to count the number of infected for California then ridicule Florida for its numbers when they all come from the same charts. How convenient for you.

They don't go by real charted numbers. They go by CNN talking points. If they were so upset over the number of people infected, they have 16 other states that have worse rates of infection than Florida does.

That figure has stayed practically the same since January at the peak of the wave. Clearly that number is not updated. Basic logic shows that! Look at the graph of active cases for California.

False. Just in the last 2 days California went from 1,760 million to 1,800 million. In January they were 1,2 million. In November of last year they were at 460,000

This is getting tedious trying to explain to you something so simple. California total number of cases = 3.9 million since March 2020. Do you really think that nearly half of the total number of cases are still active?

Texas : total cases = 3.1 Million, active cases = 134,000 = 4% of total cases
Florida : total cases = 2.6 million, Active cases = 308,000 = 12% of total cases
New York : total cases = 2.2 million. Active cases = 87,000 = 4% of total cases

Yet you think that California, active cases = 45% of total cases is a genuine percentage!
