Not sure why the poster was blaming Biden for something that is under state jurisdiction and to boot Biden wasn't POTUS.

    My guess, politics only !!!

fentanyl is federal regulated and scheduled and it is not a "state" issue to deal with lol. What??? Apparently you have never heard of the DEA.

This is a 4x increase in fentanyl seized by the federal government actually.. but none the less, we shouldn't act like this is a sudden success story in the war on drugs. We've always failed at combating drug addiction by cracking down on drug trafficking. Hell, our prisons aren't even drug free

Sure I would wager that 90% plus is sold on the black market. But it comes across our federal borders. IMO, Fentanyl is the most dangerous drug to ever hit the us consumer market and its scary.

Because the only thing that will stop it, is to allow people to self medicate legally.
Drugs can't be kept out of prisons, prisons have walls. What chance does any administration have? I want spending kept down, and any plan the Republicans come up with sounds like it will just cost more money.

Marijuana is a schedule one substance, the DEA considers it the worst of the worst

if the DEA would lie about Marijuana, why would anyone trust them

this is why the war on drugs is a failure

That's not at all whats happening. Just as with any drug, CBT only manages to capture a small amount of the overall volume that comes into the country. The methods by which they find the drugs have actually been handicapped by Brandon's administration. Progs oppose searches, we saw that as they criticized Gov Abbott's enhanced efforts in Texas. So when you reduce the efficacy of your searching but find more than you were before the only logical conclusion is the total volume available to find has gone up.
